Except an old Sentra that I owned which was damaged by a large rock flung to its engine compartment from the road while on a highway, I have been happy with my 2007 maxima and 2013 Pathfinder. I do service them at Nissan centers. Their price to quality is excellent. The memory operated steering wheel column option is unique to its class (usually found only in MB, etc). May be some machos want to get rid of the CVT, however for me CVT has been a smooth operator. I am not concerned as Ariya which is going to be my next vehicle will not need a gear.

Love the physical button for the entertainment system the same as my existing Nisan Rouge. The instrument panel being in the same place on the other side of the steering wheel is something I am looking for. The question I have is how easy is it to get in, and out of the vehicle. This is the one thing I love about my Nisan Rouge is that it is easy to get in and out of. For us old people this is very important. Loved my Subaru Legacy Outback Sport in its day however as I got older is was harder to get in, and out of.

There are a lot of features to like, I look forward to a proper road test. One concern is the rearview mirror. Being electronic, what if it fails or shorts out? Does it somehow become a regular mirror or do you no longer have a rearview mirror? 🤔

Gm has had the e rear view mirror for years on that one you flip the switch to go between the two views

Looks amazing but my local dealer doesn't even have an availability date for a test drive vehicle. This is despite the car being announced in August 2020.

My question is the buttons that are on the armrest where they’re located is there a chance that somebody puts their arm on the armrest did your elbow might hit those buttons?

Do you know if the interior ambient lighting can be turned off? This and the Ioniq 5 are my two favorites, but I'm not really a fan of its retro-styling and it doesn't have a rear wiper.

Hello, I think that it should be possible to turn off (usually it’s the brigtness adjust so you just put it to minimum/off)

Am I the only one seeing a huge similarity to Tucson's frontend? This is very similar. Even the bottom of the grille.

Overall it looks nice, but I wish for less front overhang. All new platform? Move that front axle line forward... Also, the key fob looks bulky. Should be a 3/4 size credit card.

1:43 real arches!!! However, ventilated seats are not a necessity at all but they do make a big difference to your comfort levels, which is missing. Other than that it's awesome.....

It’s looking good. I used to have the Leaf Tekna, this is a huge stride forward, what’s its towing capacity and when do we get these in England ?. With the steering wheel being on the correct side already its guess pretty soon I guess !

Hello, so it’s the Japanese model that’s why the steering wheel is on the right side. I have been told that in Croatia (my country) it should arrive around Februrary 2022 so we’ll see, should be similar to all other countries in Europe

Looks good. Nice to have more and more choices. The interior looks a lot like the Ionic5 interior, especially the dual flat screens on the dash.

Pricetag for different trims... ?

What's more impractical indicators on thd front if you side profile at a roundabout I doubt you are going to see them wonder how many accidents will involve these cars

I drive a 40Kw Leaf and this is a day one purchase for me in the 87Kw variant because in Europe it has 22Kw charging. The fact that a brand new platform doesn't come withe 3 phase by default across all variants is disappointing. Lots of free 22Kw chargers here in Ireland.

I prefer the display showing convention dials.

So much better with the light interior please bring it to England Nissan

This is the Japanese model with 2 ports (on is the classic port for home charging and on the other side it’s the Chademo, but as I understood the version for Europe should get Type 2 port with speed up to 130 kW

So, what happens if you get a flat tire sense their is no spare tire that comes with this car?

I know it’s the trend to have an 20” touchscreen as the dash, but I’m old skool, I prefer the simple dash

Ariya, ev6 or the ioniq 5.. man hard to decide. price here is expensive though if you aren't happy with base model with no extras. can't see the price for the ariya here yet

They moved all the HVAC to under the hood in place of where an engine or drunk is, so that's why there's no center console sectioning off the two people in the front
