I'm a retired optician and I worked for several different optometrists over my working years and what they all seemed to agree on is that there is a rather large segment of the population that has something they called "Night Blindness" Now of course it didn't mean that someone was really blind at night but it was what thye described as a patient that when tested had perfect eyesight but was complaining about having more difficulty when driving after dark with not see as well as they used to. They found that what worked best on all of these patients was to prescribe them with a -.50 SPH prescription and an AR coating (anti-reflective) on their lenses. The patient's all said that the glasses worked very well and were happy with the results. You should probably get in touch with thw woman from your story and tell her that she should go another doctor and even ask for that prescription if the doctor hasn't heard of it.

they help to reduce glare when people use extremely bright led or hid spotlights and dont bother to switch them off as theyre driving towards you

Would’ve been good if Ms Karen said what brand of glasses they were🤷🏾‍♀️. My coworker just told me that she has night blindness and was looking for something for her.

Ok. So we just have to wait 1 more yr for the super nano crystal lens to help us see better at night :) 1 MORE YR guys !!!
