This is a lovely fragrance. Nice review!

When I use this fragrance, I spray more than usual and get that amazing smell that is unique. If you spray like only 4 sprays you will not notice the beauty of this fragrance. Use like 10-12 in arms, behind ears, neck, shoulders and wow!!

Bought this today and love it because it is dissimilar from a lot of modern fragrances. The vetiver is subtle, but I already have Guerlain Vetiver for when I want it to be more pronounced. A good summer scent.

Declaration D'Un Soir is one of my favorite fragrances in my collection, but I don't have a whole lot of it left. I enjoy the earthy, damp, sweet rose that fragrance has. Does this one have that earthiness to it, or is it a lot cleaner?

For me, the lack of harsh vetiver is a blessing, I loved it at first sniff and it's a big surprise since I have an aversion to vetiver's dry, smoky aspect usually. This new Narciso is going to get a lot of wear this Spring. What I do get is that oddball steaming iron effect from H24, so people who don't like that might have a harder time with it.

I have Déclaration d'Un Soir and I didn't find this similar to it. The Narciso Rodriguez has a wood note which I find unpleasantly creamy (similar to Explorer Platinum).

I think the name is apt, all I'm getting from this is fizzy vetiver and musc, not much else, definitely no rosy aspects. But it's very light vetiver, more in line with Zara's Frayed Edge, than with Encre Noire for example (you almost have to imagine it's vetiver, almost). Perhaps they're using that synthetic replacement for vetiver that strips away all those earthy and smoky facets vetiver usually has and smells only vaguely reminiscent of vetiver...

Dunno if there's a buying guide for Narciso Rodriguez by Ash. Can't find one.

Smelled this in the store today and the opening smells 70% close to Santal 33, dry down smells lighter and floral, which is very different to Santal 33

My lady actually just gave me this as a sample that came wit my YSL purchase….and everything u said is exactly how I feel lol. That top note is strong, kinda off-putting. But when u go deeper into the sniff, that’s the part that shines……but there still is that top note 😒

Unfortunately, here in France, the men section of Narciso perfumes is very difficult to find in stores. I would really like to test this one (and also the Bleu Noir line), but as we cannot find them, it's would be a blind buy...

bleu noir is blind buy safe if you like bleu de chanel or club de nuit iconic it smells similar to those very simple fragrance don’t expect too much

Do not blind buy! Smelled this yesterday and it is wearable/decent at best. I didn’t like it.
