When I try this combos whip doesn't count as a true combo

Bro, how do you do the down air and up air after the whip without jumping. Every time i try i end up on the ground after the down air and just end up shotting the gun instead of doing up air

I gotchu what you have to do is pull your right stick down then up in the air after the whip

Morty's up attack needs to just be changed to the fire ring and he will be a more solid character.

This is all cool, but tbh, sometimes you don’t want to think through any tactics when 90% of the people are just spamming

Is it me or every time I do a combo with Morty it gets dodged so easily like I can’t do nothing….

do you double jump or high jusmp after the whip to hit down air

Appreciate the morty combos man. Like last week I had been hearing that Morty was bottom tier and was eager to try him out when I saw the morty montages only to get wrecked by WW’s and Banana Guards. Then I saw Morty Guides including yours and when I learned his controls it felt like I just turned on a switch and got better at him. I even bought the Evil Morty Skin when I decided to main him

you may be fast falling while doing the down air, try to input down + attack at the same time to avoid the fast fall

How are you landing the Down Air Attack into Up Air Attack so consistently. Every time I try to do it it does the ground version of the Up Attack. It looks like your feet are touching the ground, but they are not.

It’s on the way down from the first jump. Jump slightly higher and don’t fast fall.

use key binds. for ps4 after hitting the one two punch with armathy hit the R1 button and the whip will come out

After some testing, i dont think you can use whip string when target is above 35-40 HP. Or i am just bad

I don't think you mentioned it but you used the 5% boost perk so the combos would deal less damage in a real game with another perk. Good video and good combos keep it up

Brother they're not fake combos there are combos where you have to predict where your enemy is going to be it's just not a true combo

The whip IS true, it just doesn't work on heavier characters at 0, with a little more percentage it's always true I'm pretty sure

It is true, if it becomes stale though you can’t do it as the knock back changes, you will always get it the first time
