@@redead8513 I feel that it’s a lot harder to master bugs than Batman but I guess I do disagree that Batman is no skill, because I used to main him in the beta where I felt he was really easy to play as I got 300 wins with him and I tried playing him again in the new release and I just didn’t find him as fun as rushing down zoners harder than before, but I feel like for general players his combos would be really easy to pick up where he’d get some bs nockback

Most projectiles hit for 1. "Heavy hitting" ones, like Rick's full charged laser or his rocket do 3. Bug's safe and giant rocket hit for 10. That one card hits almost as hard as Bugs's safe, and has a cooldown of 5 seconds. And that's not even taking the 3 cards attack, which actually hits harder than Bugs's safe/rocket (11 damage in total)

Saying bugs bunny takes skill because he is a complex character but then saying Batman takes no skill is definitely hypocrisy. Both have higher skill floors and skill ceilings. You can’t just abuse Batarang and grapple cause of projectile perks, armor, cooldowns, hitting Batman out of the grapple. If your opponent knows what dodge is batman can’t kill at low percent without good execution and reads. His uppercut while strong doesn’t have a wide hitbox likes bugs, joker, Harley, Jason, etc. for killing off the top. Also a low skill player isn’t capitalizing on the utility and combos Batman has. Batman is a straightforward and fluid character, but he doesn’t take no skill.

Cmon now, batman doesnt have any setup for his baterang or his grapple he just uses it when he pleases, his up special and uppercut have ridiculous hitboxes and are extremely strong, both moves can be used whenever you please thanks to a the baterang that you are literally forced to airdodge, batman is absolutely broken and takes no skill

@@VERIFLIED bro you can hit him out of grapple even if it connects. His batarang has a long cooldown if he doesn’t retrieve it. If he uses batarang in neutral then he can’t as easily use it for kill combos. Wouldn’t say he takes insane skill, but he’s not on the same level as banana guard. Also again his uppercut isn’t as op as a lot of others and doesn’t kill at quite the low percent many others do.

Actually no I think he's right about Jason his grounded Up special is garbage because the combo you're supposed to use it in is not true and you can dodge out of it, the only use you get out of it is when someones caught slippin with the combo or when there off the stage tryna get back up, not only that but Jason is HELLA slow and faster characters can easily dodge a lot of his stuff so it takes a lot of skill and accuracy to actually land most of his hits and combo's, his charge is predictable in 1v1's and his down special and down slam rarely hits when your in the air because the hitbox is so bad on them and since you're so big as Jason most the time when you go for it you end up getting hit with an up special or a up attack instead

​@VERIFLIED I think a character can be bad and have no skill to play and vise versa. For example, if banana guard had lower damage and was C or B tier he'd still be a character with no skill. Yes it'd be harder to win, but utilising him is still easy. Just like how Tom is S tier yet extremely skillful and most people wont be able to utilise him. Just cause a character is bad doesnt mean they now take skill to use. It just means they're easy to use but still suck.

Ngl a good rick is one of the scariest things, like if they know how to put u in the portal and bring u back to them they hit some of the longest craziest combos I’ve ever seen in this game

BTW skillfull doesnt describe a characters with a lot bad moves it describes a character that u have to put a lot of hours to master

some of bugs stuff can take some time to get used to but you don't have to use the safe and rocket stuff to play bugs, you just nair, up air, and down air lol

Tbh Rick is a hard character to main but I got a hang of it after playing more and you can do a bunch more combos once you play with rick more and more.

As a Joker, Jason, and Garnet main…are you sure Garnet is the worst? I mean down special is a very useful recovery and it can pick up anyone between you and the star or your ally, the rocket fist is great in combos or keeping distance, I still don’t know what rhythm does but I think it’s a buff so I use that when I can breath. Her side standard does multiple hits and ends with that ground slam. I’m no where near as good with Garnet as I am Jason but I would hardly call her the worst when Morty is asinine to use

Ever since open beta superman has had a lot of upside, he’s nerfed a bit with his up special not being able to throw up or down but he’s way more than just armour. Extremely fast and able to kill at low dmg if you catch grounded or air side special into neutral light in the air. Armour is his plus side when you know how to use it strategically instead of spamming.

Shaggy is a normal character. He’s made for beginners and can easily be countered. Takes some skill

I haven’t played this game but for a lot of these characters it appears you mistaking how good the character is vs whether or not that character takes any skill, those two things are not the same thing, a character having strong moves doesn’t make them easy nor does a character having weak moves make them hard, they certainly can affect each other but those two things are different aspects of any hero or character based game

Batman grapple can be interrupted pretty easily by damn near everyone in the game, if his grapple gave him hyper armor then he'd be busted, but also it's not a fast attack if you dodge it Batman gets caught lacking, or just side special/down special for Arya

I think you're confusing skill with tier lists. Just because a character's low/mid tier doesn't mean they take skill cause it's harder to win with them. The characters skill is literally just how hard they are to play. Same with high tier characters doesn't make them easy automatically but that's almost your entire list.

A someone who plays both, saying that batman takes absolutely zero skill but iron giant does is a goofy ass take. Even without his infinites he still has an annoying burst you can throw out at anytime, insane killpower, and his strings are very easy and spammable. Meanwhile oustide of the batarang bomb which is pretty easy to dodge, batman's not really that linear compared to Bugs or Finn

Fun vid but Gizmo is not a mid tier character my g and it also depends on how you play garnet to decide her skill ask she can win the game through sending her star off stage, jab and then grab their opponent 3 times and that’s it she won. (My friend a Garnet main and I tested that last night and it’s a very consistent exploit). At the time of this video gizmo got his arrow back from hitting you and car had not been to touched nor had side special (no whiff) he low profiles everything and arrow (ground special and Nair) is a free neutral win. Car did something like 30 damage. His vertical game it’s still just amazing . But Gizmo got to the final of a major tournament through 2 moves. He’s in the conversation of Top 3 with WW Steven just falling short of joker and Harley

Yes, Rick is garbage. I main him cuz he cool. Also down tilt funny. I just wish his portals recharged faster. Seriously in the show you see him shooting multiple portals at once then in this game he shoots one portal and oops, gotta wait till next year to do it again.

U made Harley seem so easy to pick up when she’s not her range isn’t that good she can get hit of her string by another characters long range string most characters in this game lunge foward when using their string but Harley doesn’t rlly have that and her hitbox is more lower now her charged attack in air can be punished very easily by running away or dodging and since it has rlly bad end lag so u will be punished her side air has pretty bad end lag as well you also have to know how to use her bomb well and how to attach it consistently you have know where to place her down special Harley isn’t just a character anyone can pick up and master

I disagree with Tom and Jerry sure you can learn complex moves but his up special close up is probably the best ko moves on ground in this game and a won 4 games in a row picking him up for the first time

As a tom and jerry main tom and jerry is not a top tier to me maybe an A tier... Toms very slow compared to the rest of the cast his combos arent as complex most are grounded his frying pans hitbox is broken and against smaller characters jerry can go over them which means the hitbox for jerry is really really bad. He's to fast for the tennis balls in most scenarios making it tough to get those insane setups and while he does have nice moves his down spike being slow making spiking useless... His rocket only doing 11 while leaving him vulnerable for a couple seconds meaning if they dodge free hit while they can dodge it cause its hard to control while fishing rod is nice its also a big risk cause it also leaves him vulnerable for a second. Another thing is tnjs hitbox is fair which in this game isnt a very good thing cause you can't really play life in 2s anymore triple dynamite is really solid but most times they'll just run away and press you afterwards. Trap is also weird cause running into it doesnt always spring the trap until like a couple seconds afterwards. Tnj is still really good but his problems are alarming... This is coming from id say a really good tnj main id say A tier in 1s depending on who you have a tier. Play against a really solid finn as tnj who spams projectile shield and spams sword as tnj if you wanna feel how powerless the character is some scenarios its laughable.

I wish in the rifts everyone was unlocked Atleast because it would let you practice and have more fun on things that move. They suck as is and are super boring and grindy. Also it’s bs because u can’t fulfill missions without people. I wish I could make a TAS to beat the rifts.
