If you think NEW money isn’t exploitative then you obviously haven’t been paying attention. Where do you think all the manufacturing happens? CHINA! Why do you think tech companies hire Indians to be their tech-support? They can pay them pennies on the dollar. Everyone’s being exploited, but the difference is just to what degree. Most of the new money is from people prostituting themselves for financial gain… the Kardashians are a perfect example of this.

Old money people knows the real deal, they lay low as to not attract attention to their wealth and connections. If you have the chance to get to know one of them, you will realise that they have their contacts everywhere.

New money is certainly in your face. Completely lacking the class of old money. The biggest difference is what they teach their children. My grandfather came from an old money family. When I was a child he explained to me that class has nothing to do with money and everything to do with self respect and how well you treat others. He said if I always did my best to make others comfortable in my presence and I acted like a lady I would have class even if I was poor. I always remembered his words.

There a taste level difference with old and new money. You cannot fake, teach, or buy style. Either you have it or you do not. Old money grew up with a grandmother who wore a Chanel suit and big dark glasses. New money grew up with a grandmother who shopped at JCPenny or Sears.

Look just because they sit by the side of a fancy old fireplace, dripped out in full ralph lauren doesn't mean that they are educated or nice people. I live in the richest part of Denmark so i know alot of these people that have this "old money aesthetic" and most of these people are snobby, spoiled and irresponsible. Just because you wear ralph and dress dapper does not make you educated. In a lot of cases it is quite the opposite. These are the types of people who got everything from their mom and dad, and wants to show of that wealth, insted of putting their head down, being humble and creating their own lane.

There are a lot of educated broke people as well. Money doesn't care if you're educated or not, it goes to the person with the most hustle. Entertainers make gazillion dollars more than Ivy League professors or most of the graduates. Old Money go to fancy colleges for connections not the education. I came from an old money town and their success and history is very much based on the club scene. Golf and yacht clubs. Not an easy thing to enter and they keep it that way.

Now let's be real, the new lads in're ("in here" if you don't know language accent) are to brag how wealthy they are, flexing, and make them famous for. Now the other hand, old people (which is the best ones than the current century) are to show how respectful they are, don't need to brag nor flex because it's already in them, like how they act towards people. Tbh it's kind of pointless to overdress expensive clothes than simple just like the old version of the rich people. Always formal yet they are expensive, they also don't use rings or any expensive accessories like diamond necklaces and stuffs. Except for the new rich people. Old ones don't need to show cars too. Now I have a question for who is reading this, What would you choose? Simple rich outfit, or Overdress rich outfit? (like what it shows in here, overdress is like a term for bragging how wealthy you are, showing chains and rings I think.)

The grass is greener on the other side. We tend to pursue what we don't have. If they're born with riches, they don't need to pursue those, and are focus more on something else. Those who are new to it, are still perhaps processing that they somehow got this much money, and don't really know what to do with it, maybe.
