    Great demonstration Mark, I have the 36v makita abrasive chopsaw & my coworkers love it. We cut 14 & 16 gaudge cees with it all the time, i'm glad to see that tool companies are constantly innovating. Now I need a cordless cold-cut saw... I wonder who is going to get one to market first.

    @@MarkThomasBuilder As for my favorite cordless tool it would have to be either my Makita 18v nibblers, my flexvolt 6inch grinder or my Bosch 18v bulldog.

    I'm always excited to go cordless, but the pivotal cordless tool for me would be the 4.5 inch angle grinder from 3 years ago. I was so tired of dragging that cord around, lol.

    Mark, when I received mine I was searching high a low for the 4th rubber foot. I reviewed the manual and it was made that way. 3 rubber feet and one metal that is flush with the surface. Maybe someone knows why? Static discharge? I was watching your slow motion footage. It’s in the same area as the discharge cover…

    The blade nob is plastic but they couldn't put ruber on the miter handles or Cover them in Heat resistant plastic for more comfortability

    Thats a good question. I have some 1/2" rebar and will have to test it out. It will cut it, but I'm not sure how fast.

    @@MarkThomasBuilder every other saw on the planet comes with a starter blade don't matter if is a Circular saw or a jig saw or a Recip or a miter or a Table saw or any other saw I'm missing abrasive 14 inch blades are only 9 something bucks especially for the price they charge for this saw should have a blade with it

    That's a very good question., Fred. I recorded some video talking about that but had an oversight editing that in my video. The answer is no, there is no LED light of any kind on this saw, unfortunately.

    I have many Milwaukee HO tools. And they overheat the battery damaging it. They don't work continuously. Okay for smaller jobs.

    @@MarkThomasBuilder yup. My 9 inch grinder will overheat even a 12 amph. Killed one this way. It depends on application. I often trip out a battery on the grinders. So I don't have faith where torque is needed

    Now that you mention it, I think mine timed out as I was cutting some galvanized pipe. The Milwaukee steel cutting saw is better suited for that type of work.

    I think I've heard of people doing this but don't recall what the instructions say. I'm thinking they say to only use certain abrasive blades.

    @@eduardoorozco2454 yeah I know The saw speed is to high cold cut saws run at less then 1300 rpms the Milwaukee is over 4000 rpms I didn't say I was going to do it I was asking if anybody has done it there is a difference

    I don't think it will fit on that Milwaukee stand. I have an old DeWalt miter saw stand that has a board that it would easily sit on. 💯🍕🍻👍

    I'm not sure if they recommend installing a diamond blade in there. The M18 Cutoff Machine is a good choice for cutting brick. It comes with a Milwaukee diamond blade.

    Yes, the cordless convenience is expensive, but a 12Ah battery will lots of metal studs on a single charge.

    Worst tool I've ever bought from milwaukee by far. Takes 2 12.0 batteries to cut through a 1/8" thick 2" wide piece of flat stock. Complete joke

    what? who still uses abrasive cutoff saws? Seriously. I see no benefit to them for any material at all. I been using metal cutoff saw now for years, I will never go back.

    I still think they're a great option for steel studs. Thick steel is cut best with the Milwaukee M18 Metal Cutting Circular Saw, which I need to do a review on this month.

    @@MarkThomasBuilder I guess it being cordless is the benefit see. I don't know of a cordless metal blade chop saw. THe circular saw review will be interesting, I have not used one of those, but I do have a ton of blades for them I got in a auction lol

    I like to feature a wide variety of tools on my channel, including some of that people not have seen in a home improvement store. I'm probably in Home Depot 3-4 times a week buying tools, accessories, or building material for work and personal projects.

    Several of us got in on that deal when Acme posted it to their website. Before tax $319 (bare tool) and two free 12ah batteries. Moments later, they fixed the oversight. I’ll give it to Acme they honored all of the deals purchased before they updated their website.
