Such a great sketch. Cecily was on the edge the entire time and Mikey almost breaking character is very rare. Added even more humour to the whole thing. Loved it!

Yes they were piggy backing on the success of the time Norm Macdonald was asked to play as scientist for a similar sketch and didn't like doing it.

I was sort of suprised how well Cecily held herself together instead of outright laughing considering you can hear her laughter in her speech and see glimpses of her smiling

These skits have stories that are written, actors/comedians that need to not only memorize _their own lines_ but know their body movements and timing all within ONE WEEK from start to finish. It's amazing when you think about it

If all of them played it straight, the sketch wouldn't have been half as funny. But as everyone started breaking, it made me crack up. And that kiss on the dog's head was adorable.

I like how the dog head man's combat tactics include the Three Stooges poke to the eyes.

The Chaotic good of this sketch is just... incredible.

This may have been the best SNL sketch I've seen in ages. I laughed until I cried. Especially when the ham was dropped and the dog was like "gotta get me the rest of that!" What a good dog!

The fact that they made a damn near perfect and correct uniform for a skit is impressive

Make this a running thing Lorne, it doesn’t have to be every episode but maybe every three episodes there’s a dog man sketch.

Much respect for Sam Rockwell, for all his work making the first Dog Head Man on SNL. All his efforts weren't wasted and because of his genius, we now have military Dog Head Men. Great skit.

Watching Mikey carefully try to corral the dog while desperately trying not to break and to stay in character, while shouting "Dog Head Man!" is my everything.

The least realistic thing about this is a US senator being concerned about potential war crimes (3:28).

Trying to do this skit on live TV where anything can happen is amazing. Dog nailed it.
