How tragic

Here from Mora/Chacon 👋 We did not evacuate. Only 8 of us chose to stay. Needs? Water, hay & feed for animals, dog food. Items that are not thought of. We weren't able to leave our homestead so these odd items were so appreciated and welcomed.

I’m a disabled veteran, I moved to ruidoso last year for health reasons. When told to evacuate there was no time really to take anything . I was able to bring a couple of changes of clothes and my medicines and that was about it. I had no where in the state to go for shelter so I went to my father’s house in Texas . The veterans administration did call and ask if I was ok, but no offer of any kind of assistance . I live on a fixed income is there any help I can receive?

all your representatives are in Ruidoso and on the ground. Governor, Congress, Mayor, and Senators. There's a livestream at 5pm on Facebook to update info but you should be able to call any of your representatives offices to get direction for help. There's plenty of help ready, they didn't fool around about making sure resources were available.
