Finally someone figured out...!!! This is something devs should have implemented from the beginning, so many of us have been asking something like this, I know it's not perfect, but is a loooot better than what we have right now, a manual gearbox has been requested from day 1...!!!

Gear doesn't make sense. High when climbing? And game should give you speedometer, tilt meter, and traction monitor. And tell us how much truck weight, engine power&torque, cargo weight. The game is calculating this but it's hidden from the player. Why they make it so arcade-ey

I always wanted a manual gearbox from the day i stardet playing snowrunner!

This should’ve been added to the game when it came out in 2020

Yep. NOW they are doing it when I won’t be playing Snowrunner because I’m moving up to either a Moza or a Simagic setup by the end of the month and SR *also* fails at wheel support.

Never forgave the devs for not implementing a actual h shifter option in this game that also allowed a high and low range... For a game that tries to het as close to realism as possible, how did theyvover look this....

engine sound loop is terrible.

It's shocking how much lazy design is in this game yet people defend it

This is not an official feature, but a fan made mod, which needs to have access to the file system and therefore is only available for PC. No chance this will ever work on consoles!

Really wish the console guys could finally get a manual transmission mod.

@@jesterfest9667 MAUNAL transmition should have been in game from start its just the lazines of devs that they still didnt added it and they just focus on making new and new things leaving other old bugs and problems not adressed

It works...i set it up with my th8 shifter...finnaly it feels that i shift manually in snowrunner

This would be official. I hate the automatic reversefunction...

Why don’t they have an option for this? Me personally I think they should keep the shifting mechanics the same holding down LB and using the joystick but having low low + 1st second etc…

h pattern manual would be the best

is this work for wheel? it doesnt mean nothing if its same as auto just it stuck in 1 gear, the point is clutch and h shifter....

I wish they fix the speed physics while they’re at it

Hallo! Really good job man. I only have two things. H-shifter does not have a button for neutral, could it be possible to set neutral when the speed is not used? For sequential switching on the keyboard, default LShift and LAlt, insert nautral between the first step and reverse? Thanks, Thanks, Thanks...

Its a code that lets you upshit and downshift whenever you want you can also keybind all other gears

You can go from Rev to max gear by just upshifting and same when shifting all the way from highest gear to revers you don t need to use CLUTCH on the gearbox
