Not every vehicle should have a frame twist. The only vehicles have more frame twist is a regular trucks. Heavy haul or heavy duty trucks barely have any frame twist. Some trucks have double or even trippers frame. So these wouldn’t twist or very little at all.

@littlerambo fatigue only occurs if it bends beyond its straining point, otherwise it can bend back and forth for a very very long time. Simply look at aircraft, the aluminum skin stretches and compresses during every flight, every day, every year and doesn't get replaced or changed for decades. A stiff wing would crack far sooner than a flexible wing would "deform"

Not a but thing at all, but I guess it's really coded in the game to have rigid trucks. There were a couple of suspension comparison videos to spi tires and there we could see that it's not only the frame, but the wheel movements too and maybe the tires themselfs were softer so the trucks didnt bounce as much, have more grip.

They so bad, they need be fixed, but dev will never fix it Cus they never driven any real trucks or gone off road. it doesn’t downshift properly like any other car/truck game. @@288gto7 Yeah. They went for cheep/arcade feel and it BREAKS/Ruins the whole game Imo. Have the devs never driven any vehicle? They seem have no idea how Real Life Transmission works. Auto or manual. Bought the game when came out for ps4. Wish I never bought, if they ever fix the transmission. Then it would be whole better game. Because then you could actually get that power to wheel and ground/with better traction. . But as stand now. Transmission/drive train has ruined the game. No reason play it. Haven’t touch it in years. As somebody grew up on small horse farm. My dad was heavy dusty mechanic, so I leaned a lot from him. I’ve had over 25 yrs of driving 2Wheel and 4x4 trucks/tractors and equipment in snow/Blizzard conditions and very wet and muddy conditions in fields. Snow/wind/thunder storms, what ever. Still had chores to do and still had feed the horse. We have 5 acres and still hut cut grass in some area. Some years we could gather enough grass feed our 3 horses. Other years we had buy It. Hell I leaned how drive manual and float a few gears when turned 18 in my dad old 1986, F150 302v8 Ford farm truck with locking hubs. Bo low 1st gear. I think was 5 speed. Thus I was out in field after cropped been done. So farmer that owned that land told us dump horse manure out on his field. That old Ford was farm tractor when first moved their in 90’s. Later we got old 1950’s Ferguson tractor. It was only 2 Wheel driver but had 4 speed with LOW and High and could lock both wheels to spin. So yeah as ex beta tester, ex moderator, small server admin myself. These devs HAVE never been on farm or grew up around big or small trucks. Cus they so clueless.

Have you ever drove a lorry/truck irl mate? Chassis ca not be that "flexible" like a gum, those bars are holding the entire vehicle mass and mobile parts, plus its structural integrity, if it would be that "flexible " it would tear apart by its own weight, on one hand older lorries/trucks WERE designed to use frame flex as part of the suspension. Newer lorries/trucks ARE NOT, because Too much flex would lead to metal fatigue, broken welds, etc. So the frame is a maintenance part in order to avoid flexing, precisely, so in summary,it is realistic than having vehicles with duck heavy weight do not flex their chassis bars at all, this cam be apllied to ANY kind of vehicle not just lorries/trucks or carsust stop mocking around with this topic ffs

As soon as beamng has real mud and sludge I will never give mudrunner/snowrunner another thought. Mudrunner's studio should have continued to focus on developing new game mechanics and not milking its player base. This new knock-off of snowrunner that was recently released just shows how money hungry the studio is. The studio used to attract attention for its in-game mechanics. And today they change a few graphics + a new map and it's a new game for the consoles andys. It's sad what money and attention can do to you, even though you were once able to impress with your technical features.

@@InsaneGamers1003 Fuel refill bug is the only thing here thats actually an issue. Winches are fine, the terrain, trees, water physics and rock physics are all just how the game engine works. In fact one of the past couple of updates added more of the trees to the list of "destructibles" and fixed a lot of issues with collisions. Also, offroad tires and allterrain tires have better rock traction than mud tires, so the "Rocks are ice" is kind of user error, but also realistic because ordinary heavy trucks are not rock crawlers. Pebbles destroying your suspension is kind of a real thing since the "Pebbles" in snowrunner are 10-12" tall rocks which are actually HUGE when you think about it, and would absolutely mess something up if you hit them cruising 25-30mph. Its why big trucks will have blowouts from hitting potholes, rocks and road debris IRL, even at low speeds. Lots of mass + super high pressure tires. The suspension damage is probably a compromise so you arent constantly losing your tires because of whats realistic, and suspension damage isnt even that big of an issue since most trucks in SR have a LOT of suspension hitpoints. TL;DR you just need to get good, stop using tayga balloons and maybe slow down a little.

This is ridiculous. No steel framed truck flexes that much. Not without causing irreparable warping to the frame of the truck, or breaking rivets and welds. Theres a reason the trucks have become stiffer as this series has continued. The developers have continually gone out and tested and observed these tracks and tweaked the game mechanics to conform more with the reality of how these trucks operate. While its true steel has a small amount of flex to it in large ruged haulers like these, they dont break the laws of physics. Anyone who claims that trucks do flex this much. You're wrong. Completely irredemably wrong. You list exambles of parking a pickup truck on a hill. Yes. The frame can bend very small amounts in a way that releases stress off the steel. But they can not bend to the degree shown in this video. Not even close. I could go deeply into the physics of this and how different steel grades and frame designs work, but I dont need to. This isn't worth THAT much of my time.

Not true, Truck frames are designed to bend and flex over uneven roads. That is why cabs and Beds are never one piece or the body work would bend. Why do you think every truck has a separation.. it's so movement within the frame can be tolerated without issues.

Modern trucks flex less, but they still flex. As Theloze said, that is why the bed is not connected to the cab. I remember a video comparing an older F350 to a modern one. The old one was unbelievable how much it flexed, but was still a solid as a rock truck haha. I remember flexing my 2012 F250 and not being able to open the door.

Heavy truck frames absolutely do flex a lot. You just don't see it because they are always on roads. Get out into severe off road logging and bush driving and you will see them flexing. Check out Onaway truck drag races and you will see how much flex a frame can have. Trucks aren't cars.

@@Theloze Except pickup trucks arent designed to flex at all. Some do, some dont. Its why actual truck reviewing publications used to do a frame flex test, and a stronger frame would flex less. Heavy trucks (class 7 and 8 trucks) are designed for SOME flex but nothing like in the video. They are designed to flex under load for stability. Its why heavily loaded semi trucks will lift a wheel under hard acceleration or in turns.

@@twhitehead221 Pickups have a design tolerance for frame flex. Flexing to the point that you cant open doors or the tailgate is way out of its designed tolerances and will lead to permanent damage to the frame. Its also why overloading a pickup beyond its rated payload capacity will bend and twist frames and cause them to fail between the bed and the cab. Its also why heavy trucks have a straight frame and pickups have contoured frames.

Ok, flexible frames, not realistic. How about crashing issues and refueling on Xbox multiplayer? Fix that first then show me this

crashing and refueling would have to be fixed by the devs, here what someone in the comments said about flex-Truck frames are designed to bend and flex over uneven roads.
