This eye look takes me back to the Marc Jacob’s palette with the pop of bright blue, and the one and done look you did. I always liked that, and I wore that quite a few times. 😊

Love the blue shadow. It looks great on you.! I’ve been wearing a lot of blue the last couple weeks but with three or four other bluegray colors with it. I like that gradient look too. My old next-door neighbors their mom wouldn’t let them trick-or-treat or listen to any kind of music, but her Christian music as well. They were always coming over to my house. I always had my stereo going. Your story was funny and brought back some good memories.

Love this look!! I wore blue mascara in high school in the 80s, loved it then and still do, love what it does for my brown eyes! I will pull it out on days when I don’t want to bother with an eye look but still want a little extra.

I love Dim light too! And those 2 haha love everything in both #1and 2 pallets I finally found the perfect brow product for me and it’s NYX I’m astonished!!!! The new micro fine pen is the perfect shade it looks exactly like a single hair 🤣 and I can fill in perfectly 🤍🤍🤍

The hourglass brow product is $50 cad on sephora canada. I bought one durign the sephora sale. And it has definitely not weighty anymore, I bought it for the first time many years ago.

Haus Labs foundation is my FAVORITE. I haven't tried the concealer but it's on my list! You should try it! I'm too scared to try blue eyeshadow for fear of looking like Mimi 😂 You look stunning 🤩

IMHO, hazel eyes look best with blue or orange. Purple looks best on green eyes... 😊💜💙🧡 (I'm a child of the 70's and my Mum did indeed wear blue mascara in the 80's.. I don't even think she had a black or brown one...) 🩶

They’re completely different formulas and coverage, so I don’t think that it would work as a comparison.

Alternative title: me staring at Mal's hypnotizing honey eyes for a half hour 😍 😅 I don't like blue on me for the same reason you do... My eyes are green so going either purple or peachy coral are usually best to bring out my eye color. But blue on you!! 🥰 Amazing! Also just noticed I have silver blue eyeshadow on in my display pic 😅 that pic is from 2012 tho so I rest my case 🤣

Welcome to loving Hourglass powders, aka: the first sign of mature skin. (I know exactly what you were talking about) I like the blue look on you! I just can’t bring myself to put on blue eyeshadow because it reminds me of my babysitter in the 70’s. 😂 I was mad about those eyeshadows made for eye colors because I have blue eyes and I LOVE purple eyeshadow. Lol 😂

I love feedback! How close do you normally like it to be when you watch makeup tutorials?

I just won’t purposely buy a blue palette. I’m not going to object to anyone else wearing it but I grew up in the “blue eyeshadow should be illegal” era and blue mascara was unacceptable yet ubiquitous. You look gorgeous BTW and I’ll just pretend you are using neutrals and applying them expertly.
