New Makeup from the Drugstore that is worth looking at…
Let’s begin with new eyebrow product releases from elf and Milani. e.l.f. released their soap brow that’s activated with water to tame and sculpt the eyebrows. Milani’s Brow Wax is new to the beauty world with claims up to 16 hours of strong hold. I’ll take some of each please. Moving to the rest of the eyes with more new makeup from Milani and e.l.f. Milani launched mini gilded eyeshadow palettes with 6 shades in each compact. I purchased the complete matte palette and the shadows are somewhat dry, but are buildable and mostly blendable. There’s a new mascara in town and it’s a good one. E.L.F. Lash n Roll mascara promises maximum curl and lift with their unique double sided curved silicone brush. This new mascara is really easy to coat each lash to achieve lift, separation, definition and curl without clumping the lashes together.
Moving on to the face. Let’s begin with a newly formulated e.l.f. gripping primer infused with niacinamide to help brighten any dull complexion. I paired the new face primer with a brand new foundation from Revlon. Revlon’s Illuminance Skin-Caring Foundation packed with squalane and hyaluronic acid to help increase skin elasticity, reduce appearance of skin texture and boost skin’s radiance in all of 4 weeks. If you’re searching for a new soft matte concealer with full coverage, Makeup Revolution just launched their newest addition to their IRL line: IRL Filter Finish Concealer. This new concealer is supposed to be buildable, full coverage with a soft matte finish that will provide a soft focus with instant coverage. If you’re a fan of Charlotte Tilbury’s liquid contour, there might be a budget friendly dupe. Let’s welcome Milani Conceal + Perfect Liquid Contour with four shades to chose from. I’m definitely going to put Milani’s liquid contour against Charlotte Tilbury’s liquid contour to see how they compare.
Last but not least, we can’t forget the lips. Makeup Revolution continues their addition to their IRL makeup line with new lip liners, IRL Filter Finish Lip Definers in seven shades. I paired the new lip liner with a newer lipstick that L’Oreal launched in 2022, Colour Riche Intense Volume Matte Lipstick that’s supposed to last for up to 16 hours.
Today, I’m applying each new makeup product and doing a wear test to see how they perform throughout the day.

I have small eyes so I always end up pinching my eye lid with lash curlers . I wish someone would make a smaller lash curler for smaller eyes.

I like elf too. The only thing wasn't working for me is their foundation and concealer. But everything else is working very good.

@@mrsRebelQueen agreed. I've never been able to wear a foundation that isn't super emollient because my skin is super sensitive and dry. I'm loving the cream based blushes and eye makeup. Much more pigment these days!

This begs the question.... is the application using high end brushes making a difference in how these drugstore products are going on? If I'm using drugstore products, I want to know how they'll apply using drugstore brushes.
I just got that makeup revolution irl concealer and you’re so right. It’s so good. Better than some of my high end concealers. I love it. Been using it non stop.

I've been using that Revlon triple step lash curler for about a year and it's become my favorite once I got the hang of it. I'd been searching for a curler that gives a gradual, subtle, rounded curl instead of sticking straight up. I had to play with the angle that I hold it to catch my lashes just right. I tilt it back towards my eye and it works perfectly that way. If I hold it the way I do all my other curlers, it doesn't get near the base of the lashes. It takes just a minute or less of playing with different angles of holding it and you'll l instantly know when you've got it just right. I've also noticed it won't work well for shorter lashes because the band is so big to create the rounded shape, that short lashes aren't visible when you squeeze it shut. Lashes need to be long enough to come out the other side to get that shape.

Beautiful! I’m hoping you can comment on the Milani translucent powder. I’ve seen a few reviews saying it looks orange. I’m about as fair/cool as you (maybe slightly paler) so it worries me to hear orange!! I didn’t think it looked orange on you.
I tried the Maui shade of the elf luminous blush and it was so light on me I could use it as a highlighter. And I have light/medium skin. The other colors are nice though

Hi I love your posts you’re great. Have you ever tried the foundation genius you can find it on Amazon it’s amazing. I usually put a few drops in my moisturizer. If you want to do it looking late coverage it’s amazing! You should review it it’s very inexpensive and it’s the best I’ve ever tried.❤

The downside of hyaluronic acid in the lipstick is it will draw out whatever moisture is on your lips.

Because some people will complain she doesn't give enough info. It seems you can't always please everyone. Perhaps you can skip it if it's that big of a challenge.
