LV brought this back because they have priced out a lot of their customers. Let's be real: their sals have declined a lot since 2022. We no longer see huge line ups outside their stores. The price increases have gotten so ridiculous that people have stopped buying. So what does LVMH do? Bring back their discontinued products - the same products that they once looked down upon people buying and turning into bags. Now they need more $$$ and this is a desperate cash grab to appeal to the customers that they have priced out.

I just received the set and am obsessed!!! Fun interiors thick canvass made in France shorter tab etc. it’s a win win for me. My first purchase from the house in years!

I love the 30 rule. I’ve actually grown out of some of the initial excitement for some of the luxury items I wanted. So it’s def saved me money 😊

The Trio is a good price for sure. I saw Stella Connolly’s video on it and she noted that the price of the trio is less than the price of the the three original pieces the last time they were sold. I’m probably not going to pick these up. I have the two from DUYP. I was hoping Melodie would come out with her version of the 19 but she didn’t. In the meantime Coach Outlet has some similar to the 19 so I picked that up. It comes with a crossbody chain, which I won’t be using. I purchased a short black vacchetta strap a while back for another bag that I’ll use instead. I’m using it to carry a few chargers for phone and iPad and some office supplies. I’m tempted for sure but it’s not a priority. I’m kind of feeling it’s a little too little, a little too late.

Great update! Definitely the best variations since the originals. The colors are fun!

You should definitely get them. I bought it when it launched (I don’t have the originals) and I’m so happy I did because I was told by a few SA’s that they weren’t sure if this will be a permanent collection or if it’s only a seasonal item and for the price I think it’s fairly priced- (for now). The pop of color is so much prettier in person. 😊

I just picked mine up at the boutique. They are so gorgeous and the colorful interior is stunning. I love the pull tabs that are way shorter. Mine was the only set in the boutique and made in France 🇫🇷. I love that they are being sold as a set because it avoids the hassle of people scramming to find the other sizes if they were to want the set in the future or if LV decides to discontinue these down the road.

Wish I had known about a little sooner! Would have bought them in Europe last week.

I just bought it. I love the pop of colour. I never had any of the OG. Not sure what I will use the biggest one for but It will be a forever piece and I won’t baby it. Being able to wipe the inside down is great for me.

nah skip for me, $2000 for 3 small cosmetic bags sounds like a scam. 3 bundle deal makes like you saving $$$. tax on middle class has to stop with us not buying, clearly the economy is bad that's why the need to harvest more chives.

The price is actually quite reasonable, in my opinion. I bought mine before the price increase around 2014, and I have all three toiletry pouches. I paid around the same price, maybe $1200 for all three. I remember my Toiletry Pouch 26 was $445, so considering that, the new Trio price isn’t bad at all.

I bought mine right before they discontinued. The 26 was $750 with tax, the 19 was $700 & the 15 was $600. So $2050, the trio is $2170 with tax in Canada. So $120 more than they were 2 years ago which is a minimum increase for 3 products in over 2 years. I’m buying them & will probably sell the 19.

If I were a LV fan, I would so buy it lol thank you for sharing

I like it but I sold my 19 and barely use my 26. I think I am over it right now.

Glad LV brought back this set, love the pop of color. I also hope they keep this as a permanent item for LV . I also think that it is priced reasonably ( for LV that is ) Lastly if you do buy the trio, I would be very interested in purchasing your toiletry pouch 😉

I think if you don't have the original TPs, the trio is great! If I didn't already have the original 19 and 26, I would definitely purchase the new ones. I sold my 15 because I prefer the mini pochette.

At last they listen to the consumer...lol. Going round and round with these sellable items and just making some changes and charged a bomb. Yeah, i love the new (old) set too and yes with a shorter zipper which makes it more appealing and the colors in the interiors are beautiful. I am so tempted and will also wait and see. I did not get any and miss out the old version one so may get one. Thanks for sharing. 🤗

Is the canvas thicker like some ppl are saying?

The new toiletry pouches are lovely, although I personally have a preference for the original interior design. I’ve heard from someone that the new trio pouches feature a thicker canvas, which could be a significant factor to consider. If you’re thinking about purchasing the new version, it might be helpful to create comparison videos showcasing the differences in canvas thickness before parting with your older version.

Got my bestie in Madrid to pick me up a set & I was able to save a few bucks by getting the euro price, (although it’s not as much savings as in yrs past)… but almost equates to buying tax free, just have to wait a few wks to get them. The set would make a lovely gift for mom/Mother’s Day (especially if that= yourself, haha!) I’d add in a liner/adapter kit for the largest size pouch, too... so it can be worn w/ a chain or strap of any kind. Its nice to attach a wrist loop when using as a clutch, or a short shoulder length chain/strap that can be tucked inside when not in use… bc you never know when you’ll want/need to be hands free- (I always like to leave the opportunity/potential for dancing open😉). Ive been looking to buy the pouches on pre-loved market, & IIRC… I think The 26/large is selling for abt $700, the 15/medium is selling for arnd $500, the smallest can’t be much less… bc it’s hard to buy LV anything- even a keychain- for less than $300… but even at that cautious price range, it’s $1500… So, whether you just want to keep one, or two, of the pouches… you would likely be able to capitalize off selling the singles or matching small set that you don’t need- particularly, bc those available on preloved market are older & usually used vs. new/unused, but the interior color will make it more desirable, & fact there’s very few small sizes that come up for sale, & the largest is not very common either- I believe the 15/med. is what I come across most frequently… I’m happy I didn’t purchase one yet- I came close tho! (Oh! & Perhaps, this means the price of the older/more used pochettes will get forced down a bit, bc their price is obvs over- inflated (even in LV terms), simply bc of their popularity & appreciation among LV enthusiasts. Makes you wonder WHY they would EVER stop selling any like that in the first place?! (Unless it’s to just jack up the price more/quicker, bc assume ppl won’t remember how cheap they used to be?? 🤦🏻‍♀️ smh) I do recommend purchasing- the largest size is great for travel, but versatile otherwise, much like the other sizes are. When traveling, I use the 26/largest for my medicine, & then like to use it as a clutch/purse during the trip, bc it’s a great size- fits a small book/notebook, camera, phone charger, telephone, & everything you might need; it’s esp great for rainy days, poolside partying, or for bringing to drinks/dinner! Love the versatility- the smallest is my key/car fob holder, & I stick the cards I dont use, but want to carry w/ me, in it too… like AAA & business cards, etc. The colors are to die for!!

I’m struggling with this one as well. If I didn’t already have the 19, I probably would have purchased this already. I like the 30 x 30 rule, I just worry that these may sell out before then. 😢I would absolutely purchase your 26 though. Let me know. 😊

I am happy they are back! I love the interior colors. Just like the kirigami set. But I just need the toiletry 19 size to add to my would be trifecta collection. Something for me to think about. It is a great price for all three. But I don’t think I will be purchasing it anytime soon.

I just bought these. I’ve always wanted the original but they were so hard to find, let alone it being discontinued. I’m so glad since I missed out. The next revamp were ugly and overpriced… totally agree. Anyway, I can’t wait for it to come soon!!! The pop of color really did it for me and the price point. I would get it soon because I see a price increase coming.

Love the new ones:) But I have the 26 on the chain. And it came with the 15. But would love to buy the 19 from you if you decide to sell. That would give me a complete set.

I just want the original bum bag to be back 😩.

I missed out when the originals came out and was turned off by the versions with the chains, etc. When I saw that this trio set was coming, I stalked the website and PIC as soon as I saw that it was available. I'm glad I didn't search the second hand market for the originals. I like having a complete set with the pop of color in each size. I'm not super picky about where the items are made, but I admit, I'm pleased that my set is MIF and that the shipment came rather quickly, not the two weeks it says on the website.

Love the pop of color inside for the pouches! By any chance would you happen to know if that interior material gets sticky or peels after years of having it and wiping it clean? I could have sworn I read or heard that it begins to peel on a blog or video.

I have been wanting one of these for years now and am so tempted to buy it but can I really justify spending £1k on a pouch?! 😭 (no) I love the printed vintage looking one they have just released too. I also remember nearly getting the cosmetic case at £250 but now it’s like £450 😭 xx

I do not have the original toiletry pouches and I know how you feel about your Toiletry Pouch 26. :) I always liked the design, but I didn't care for the new redesign with the vachetta leather. When this trio set was recently released I snatched them up at a local boutique. At first I thought it was a bit extra of me but I am so glad I did. I love the pop of color on the inside and I know I will get a lot of use out of them for years to come.

I hope they bring back the original Favorite PM. After that I will be done with LV. Unless they decide to stop being lazy with their zippers.

I had my old toiletry 26 for years. They discontinued the old ones before I could replace mine. But this set is one of their best drops in a very long time. I love them colours on the inside, wish we were able to do a customisation ie green or blue lining.

After filming this video, I went to see these in person. The interior pops of color are definitely fun! But… I noticed that none of the new toiletry pouches stand up on their own. They all flopped over. And the canvas didn’t feel as nice overall. I was disappointed but it could’ve just been the set that I saw. Perhaps it varies. But just wanted to let you know!

Thinking about price increases, would you consider this an example of a very discrete price reduction?

It was higher than the trio price if you combined all 3 individually - it was about $1600 total or so.
