Did you have to do anything to get the body all the way back while open like that? My gravedigger just flips right open. The body on my bog hog is catching on the nose when I try to push it all the way back. So had to trim it almost all the way left. BUT other than that…..THIS THING IS SO AWESOME!! 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼 Glade I chose Bog Hog. 👊🏼

That’s the only way my father used to drive his mini lst 2. Now we are needing to find it again an hoping it was never sold by mistake. We found a brand new sleeve of tires for it the other day lol.

Fix the weak axles -a disappointed LMT owner

Bog Hog is def the one I’m getting. Saw the King Sling at local shop today - many improvements over 1st LMT!

You would need 4s if your racing thru the mud that's why it's hard to handle it's truly made to run straight lines just like the no prep race cars but for the mud

Picked up on the weekend! My and my son had son had so much fun with it. True the tail pieces don’t stand up to much. I wheely on 3s has bent them a bit. We love ripping around the yard on 2s which has plenty of power imo 🇦🇺🔥💪

Thank you for the honesty and educated truth seems like the other videos on here from other channels about this platform are a little overboard on saying it’s not durable I think it’s because they lack logic and they are out there purposely trying to destroy it I love my king sling

The shocks, like the original LMT, are what is limiting droop. I bet those longer shafts yanked.

the 1st lmt is 4s as well! They simply dont tell us for some reason, but i saw several youtubers driving it on 4s and even bash without overheating

Hello Mark JConcepts makes a body for the bog hog that looks a lot stronger than the one it comes with the quarters don.t flop in the breeze.

Great video great bash 🔥 beautiful truck. Can’t wait to get one and bash it on 4s. I love my lmt on 4s stock motor/esc. plenty of power and the best thing is the remote throttle 50/75/100. 4s on 75% throttle and turn up esc punch level to max. Its perfect 👍. I bash my lmt everyday in front yard and love every min of it. I’m selling all my other rc basher lol except my xmaxx. That’s how pleased I am with the lmt. $20 dollar axle housing replacement if things go south. Haha I’m already on axle #3 but oh well that’s how bashing life goes. Add some bigger shocks for Lmt epicness. 👍

i would put like 10 wt less oil in the rear shocks, because if you look at weston driving, the front end of his truck comes up almost off the ground without wheeling. not only doing that for realism, but it might help that bouncing issue you talked about. also, it might be worth doing what greg at rc driver did, peel the windshield decal off.

King sling is Dennis Andersons mud truck. The original grave digger Dennis Anderson. Just fyi. Some pretty cool history if you got the king sling to go with your grave digger lmt. Anyways, love your videos keep up the great work.

It’s a willys truck body mark. And it’s a mud bigger as is the other one. Dennis Anderson and his grandson went back to the roots of grave digger and started mud bog racing again.

What did you do to your grass, brother? Other side of the driveway looks like hell. 😂

I run 4S in both My Grave Digger and my son of Grave Digger cuz that's the only battery that I had at the time and it handles it just fine no overheating or problems whatsoever but I definitely love the awesome new look of these mud trucks!

Yep same here always run my sun of a digger on 4s have and zero issues

Lower kv does not mean more torque actually quite the opposite, holmes hobbies just did a video on this check it out very good info

Changing shock oils might help the bounce on landings ! … I have an LMT already and probably won’t buy this new King sling version. I have a set of tractor tires I’ve used on the LMT to get the same look. Already have tons of money Into the LMT in upgrades , mostly aluminum upgrades for durability ….I bought the roller so I used a 4s system too. Great review tho! I’d probably get this newer version if I didn’t already have one!

This isn't really a basher it's a bog racer, I bet that extra power is for the mud. You should race it in the mud on your next video.

I own both, and they are each awesome in their own ways. But when I'm heading out to BASH, and fun and durability are the goals, my XMaxx is nearly always my choice. I originally thought I'd want to upgrade the stock motor and ESC as so many others have done on KZread, but it's still going strong on stock electronics after nearly 2 years. Why upgrade when it delivers all the performance I need?? :) The only change I would recommend is slightly heavier wheels/tires than the Traxxas stock units. I've avoided the really heavy Proline options (which can lead to broken suspension parts on bad landings), but Duratrax has several versions that are heavier than stock, and make it MUCH easier to control the orientation of the car when it is up in the air. Highly recommend! Side note - I'm not trying to drive ANY of my RCs like Kevin Talbot and see how high they can go in the air and how quickly I can break them... ;) You can treat the X-Maxx pretty rough and still expect to survive until the next bashing session.

Adding shock limiters help keep the rodends from ripping off the shafts

For the battery strap , go watch CCxRC’s vid about how to do it. Been a breeze for me ever since .

Very true! Once you know that tip/secret, using the stock battery straps are fast, easy, and secure

You can run the grave digger on 4s not just 3s I run my sun of a digger on 4s all the time and have never had any issues it takes 4s no problem

You mentioned the axials but did not say nothing a bout it when you said you was going to get back to them so what was it the you was going to say on them sorry its just I was weighing for that but 🤘😎👍

Now this is more like it, not into Monster trucks had my fill of E-Max/T-Max Kyosho's the only one I wish I had not sold was my Hot Bodies Nitro twin engined monster truck hard to tune but sounded and went crazy fast and being heavy jumped well, along with the gas Savage etc but this is more my thing seen them racing not always in mud muck and slime but whoops, jumps and tight turns. I would find a way of stiffening up the rear of the body gorilla tape and some offcuts of plastics from a kit sprue leftovers. Yep the fluid needs to be changed or softer springs on the rear. Sometimes I think manufacturers add more power to sell them bragging rights so yes not really needed on this truck.

Nice video, Mark! What would you suggest for fixing/tuning that rear donkey kick issue?

Easy fix with lighter oil/springs but not a lot of ground clearance so, you might need to experiment a little.

Tell me what in the hell people do to break the axle housing’s in these…? None of those jump landings were pillow soft… Rolls, tumbles and somersaults and nothing broke…? People driving theirs into tannerite? I want one so bad, but not if $650 and it’s fragile like glass…
