Yea.... I print teansfers also. Trying to explain this to my clients is dam near impossible. Yeee haaawwww. Love my job. This is a sweet idea though.

I made a mistake, too. At 4:08, the third line (the purple one) is .025 inches, right? But it says .25 inches on the screen.

WHAT A GREAT TOOL & addition to the "DESIGNER". Thanks for a great explanation. I would like to ask is there an area I might be overlooking as to a reference to the significance of each line without having to refer back to this video? THANK YOU. (Alan -CREEK BRIDGE EMBROIDERY & PRINTING)

I noticed recently in the design tool that pattern & outline tools ate grayed out? Will they be coming back? I used outline often specifically to thicken lines because we use UCM. Why is there an art fee only for UCM?

Hey Oddhumor, the outline and applied effects tools should only be greyed out with uploaded raster artwork. Any vector files or layouts/clipart from the designer should allow full effect and pattern controls. If you're having issues with non-raster artwork, please email us at info@transferexpress.com so we can take a look at it further. UltraColor Max (and CAD PRINTZ transfers) are digital transfers that are priced per square inch. Both require print ready art as they do not typically pass through a design department like our screen printed transfer do. The additional fee is for any artwork edits to ensure the quality of the final printed product. It includes an electronic proof and up to 2 revisions on your artwork.

@@transferexpress Weird, I joined TE about 6 months ago & none of my artwork was vectored (crazy expensive to vector our custom graphics) but I used both tools until recently. We’re not graphic artists n pay others to design. To have everything vectored isn’t feasible given cost of it. We vectored 2 of our most used graphics to the tune of $300 n $365. 😳🤯🥴. Due to line thickness required for UCM (which we use bc we only do small batches) we’ll still have to pay $22 for art edits. ☹️. We’ve been trying to figure out how to keep TE quality but also stay profitable due to expenses. Still workin on that. 🙂 I may just have to toss our custom ideas n use Kittl for generic templates. #Sad ☹️

@@Oddhumor Merry Christmas! I am a vector artist and I draw custom unique designs in graphic style cheaper than the rates you quoted. If you are still interested - please give me your instagram or contact, and I'll show you my portfolio :)

Your ink expansion/closure is excessive so you are printing a Large neck tag for your promo video but it still has issues with small letters. This neck tag is on the larger side but the space inside the %, R, P, A, N are all closed up and most letters are touching. Neck tags from Transfer Express are a risk. And now that they have the tool in the editor and this video you can't get support when the letters bleed together and you need a reprint.

I don't understand how you are using those 4 lines, the examples you are showing doesn't explain how to use them ...
