Nice 100 mate, they're a bloody good thing when setup right. Looks like you're on the right track, doesn't look too high in the front which is a good thing. Get those front strengthening brackets welded on the lower control arms if you intend on doing big desert trips ect. And yeah you're right, they get heavy real quick once you start bolting shit on. To save weight I got rid of my entire draw system and fridge slide, ended up saving over 100kgs going back to plastic and ally boxes. I don't miss the draws and it gives more flexibility when daily using of the rear wagon. Reason I seen your video is I was researching after market 3" exhaust for mine, how do rate the build and fit quality of the Legendex? Was it nearly as quite as the standard exhaust when you had the muffler on? I like it stealth, I think it sounds a bit shit with that bezerka pipe, sorry.

G'day Steve, the build is coming along well. I was thinking I should get them welded. I'm currently filming/building my 12v set up for it. I'm running no drawers and I'm using a lightweight alloy fridge slide (10kg) the entire set up should be a good 120kg lighter than my previous rear set up. I was using a drop down that weighed some where in the range of 40kgs and the titan drawers which would be pushing 80kg. Im also getting a gvm upgrade done in a few weeks to 3560. As for the exhaust, after having it on for a while now I've noticed the berserker doesn't sound too good. Especially after we towed down the coast at Christmas time. I jumped under the car to check things out and I noticed they missed about 40mm of weld on one of the flanges where the sections bolt together, this was causing a leak about 3/4 down the exhaust. I wasn't stoked. But I also know that mistakes happen and what's more important is how people respond. Legendex recognised they were at fault and they've sent me a new section free of charge. So I'm stoked with the service. As for the muffler version, it's great. Not too loud, still has a nice note when you plant your foot, but isn't as obnoxious as they berserker.

@@2bhuman Good to hear they standby their product, good customer service can be hard to come by these days. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of your build, great seeing different setups and ideas for the 100. Give me shout out if you're stuck on any ideas or mechanical advice, I do all the work and maintenance myself so know them inside out. Has taken me 5years to get our setup right... barwork, lockers, reduction gears, valvebody ect ect. The only mistake I made along the way was making it too heavy. Fully loaded at its heaviest it was around 3.7t, since then I've culled it down to just under 3.5t, which is sooooo much better in every way. Still a heavy car with steel front and rear bar, winch and long ranger auxiliary tank, but only carry one spare tyre and only fill the aux tank if absolutely necessary. The main culling was ridding the draws and the type of camping gear. Looking forward to your next video. 👍
