Peterbilt Steve Yes, maybe, but if I win my health battle, like I was saying to you a few months ago, I might pay you for a week, plus hotel and expenses to help or guide a local guy. To spec a truck right, your style, we a few of my touches of course. Just saying it’s one of the options I am considering if I win my health challenge. Funny how you forget about your comfort in 30 years from now when you are in my shoes
My father in law is looking to buy two 389s and I sent the link to your videos and he said he is going to look into it

No TV mounts, no outlet plugs, no inverter, business center in passenger side closet and drivers side closet is for hanging clothes. Thats about it. I will work on covering those things more, thanks for the input.

perfect to set that one up for heavyhaul. Antennae location also helps for front callout on your CB radio. Highway Star from Lafayette Louisiana had his antennae located there and he could broadcast out, forward facing, for about 25 miles.

Steve does one doser is DEF usage reduced. Does the creaky hood cost Xtra. I really like the seats in that truck

DEF usage is still the same or so that is the input I am receiving so far. The creaky hood gets much better after the hood being opened a few more times.

Why has paccar not figured out a way to put a dual purpose tank with diesel and def? They do it with hydraulic and diesel. Looks so much better.

Phillip Lee its a 379, you can tell from the headlights, on the 379 they are rectangle and the 389 it's alien looking, also the side chrome part is diffe rent, I love 379s more , they look better to me more badass looking

What is the weight of the truck? also what is the difference weight between the paccar vs. cummins? Love you videos very informative.
@SteveCarbone
7 жыл бұрын
Tag weight will be around 18700. A PACCAR is 12.9 liters and maxes out at 500hp and 1850 torque. It is also 300lbs lighter than the 15 liter X15 that goes from 400hp/1450 to 605/2050

Peterbilt Steve not bad for having all the heavy duty stuff
i feel it insulting to a beautiful truck like that to have headlights like that. I wish Peterbilt would go back to the old style. Hell, my buddies and i have a nickname for the Peterbilts unlucky enough to have the stock headlights: bug eyes. I love the look of the Petrbilt 389, except for the lights.A Peterbilt 389 should not look like its has any bit of plastic on the truck. but that's just me
