I love Lancome ! I use so many of their products, I'm hooked on Lancome. Their moisturizers are wonderful. I have very fair skin and I need a good moisturizer. I love Renergie, I can tell a difference in my skin immediately, it is fantastic !! I use it on my hands as well. Your hands can take a beating and it works so well. Love it !!

Oh Kay, I ADORE facial moisturizer for my hands. It works wonders. I usually use the drug store Olay stuff for that but I might try Lancome. They just make such quality products and their mascara is the best, bar none! ❤️

I ve never bought any mascara from lancome but after your vd i think im gonna get both in travel size cz both looks really interesting and nice 💕

The great thing about these two mascaras is they’re both ends of the spectrum. The M Big is super drama while the new one is very every day. Travel sizes always best. So agreed! 🥰

I saw this on HSN the guy from Lancôme said use the underside of the U to put on mascara and the base then turn it like u had it and sweep up like u did. That reminded me of how you do that with the flat part of the Pillow Talk wand. I looked but I have so many mascara open lol. I always prefer the trial sizes cause I don’t make such a mess with the smaller wands! Plus I never go through big ones in 3 months. I got two of the PM mascara for 10$ each on sale the other day. They arrived but I haven’t opened because, again, I have so many lol. I still want to try to hourglass unlocked. But I still love your review!

Because I open them to test them, I now, you’ll laugh, keep them in a mascara timeline so I use the older ones first. Haha. And some I hide from myself. I am so sneaky. I always used Lancome i wouldn't use anything else but Lancome? until about 2 years ago when i got into KZread and now i have so many. I liked the look of Monsieur Big the best, I like a little bit of clump because my lashes are so fine. And the thicker the mascara the better.like Bad Girl Bang

My current favorite is Dark Star by Pat McGrath. But yes. Monsieur Big is always a good choice. This new one is lovely and does what it aims to do, feathery and light. But lately I just crave that dark clumpy drama. Haha. 🥰

As a Glossier lash slick lover, I feel like I would love this mascara as well! The curved wand would give me more curled lashes. Also, every mascara smudges on me - except for the Glossier one - so if this one promises to be smudge proof, I'll get it as soon as it gets to Italy. 😍 The packaging looks lovely as well!

Hello Chiara!!! Ah yes. The smudging!! And I’ve found that if I choose waterproof then it smudges AND won’t allow me to remove it. Haha. Double bad. I’ve had more luck avoiding smudging since I started using a lash serum to grow them a bit longer. I don’t think it’s their length, though. I think it’s that I’m better able to get in between them to make sure there’s no build up that smudges. Not sure that makes sense but longer gives me a bit more room to separate. It’s honestly a lifetime pursuit to find the right mascara. Now I want to try the Glossier lash slick too!!! 🥰

@@NotFitforPrintBeauty I have pretty long lashes and I use a lash serum every now and then, but no matter what mascaras always smudge on me, apart from the Glossier one which is a tubing mascara. But it is really natural looking and light, which is what I like. Also, if I'm not mistaken, you don't love how tubing mascaras wipe off, do you? Maybe you like more volume and want to give tubing mascaras another try, I suggest the Em cosmetics one. Unfortunately I can't get it in Italy but it claims to be smudge proof (as it's a tubing one) and volumizing.

Really really good tubing mascara. The new Lancôme is gel so I’m thinking it’s tubing as well and would also be a good choice. But you and I were thinking along the same lines!!! 🥰

Our eyelashes are like our hair. Some people have finer lashes than other's, some courser, and some in the middle. So, with this said, I feel what works and looks good on one person, doesn't always look the same on another. I would suggest getting a sample to see which one works for you. I know Lancome does give out samples. I've been a Cosmetologist for many years and I've worked in so many areas. This is what I've found working in cosmetics. Our lashes also have their good days and bad days , also. I know mine do with using the same mascara. I think I will see if I can get samples of both. I've watched other tutorials where people heat their eyelash curler to curl their lashes. It works just like a curling iron does on your hair. You just have to check and make sure it;s not hot before, so you do not burn yourself. Your lashes will curl very nicely and stay that way. I enjoyed your tutorial. Thank you

Hello Kay! What a lovely, intelligent comment. I love this. And it's so true. Eyelashes are indeed hair so what you say makes so much sense. And I do find that I have good eyelash days and bad ones. For sure. Sometimes they intertwine too much and it's such a pain. Very true. I have never used a heated lash curler. Always been afraid of them. Haha. But maybe I need to get over that fear. 🥰

Lancome for me is perfume 😂😂😂.... However monsieur big and hypnose drama are my all time fave mascara. From what I can see in your demo monsieur big wins. Or is the look I like. Thank you for the demo xxxxx

I tried the Monsieur Big one today before work. What a disaster for my hooded smaller eyes. I had raccoon eyes & it was all over my lid. I had to take it off & reapply concealer because I couldn't go to work like that. I'm going to try it again (wkend) before I give it away. If it turns out bad well good thing it was a mini I got for free.

OH NO! I am SO sorry. Yes. Smaller, hooded eyes can be bad for that with these thick mascaras. Have you, by chance, ever tried a tubing mascara? Like Gigablack by Mac or Future Lash by Victoria Beckham or Unlocked by Hourglass? They are GREAT for not causing raccoon eyes because they, as you likely know, form a bond around each lash rather than coating product onto them. They remove easily and they don't run. That might do the trick. Let me know your thoughts if you get a chance.

Another Bi-Facil loyal here!! I think I've used it since the 90's. I also ALWAYS have a Lancome Monsieur Big Waterproof and a Lancome Hypnose Babydoll Waterproof mascara open. I'm currently also dallying with Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk (won't repurchase, lands under my eyes in around 2 minutes) and Marc Jacobs At Lash'd (?sp), which I also love very much; pretty similar to BiG Waterproof and stays put even though it's not called "Waterproof". Will probably repurchase. This Idole doesn't particularly speak to me. I also don't like curvy brushes.

I am not a huge fan of Lancôme’s mascaras although I do remember enjoying the grandiose tube I bought when it first launched. My favorites are the Houglass Caution Extreme and Wanderlash. I have pretty decent lashes but they’re basically transparent without mascara 😳

I have liked the Ilia and Tarte sea (idk the name, mint colored packaging 🤔) recently but they do not hold up to a workout so I won’t be repurchasing. I think monsieur big won the comparison, however, I think you could get a similar effect with a cheaper version, but if it is on your budget, go for it. I would like to buy theme both, just to spoil myself and then I can make a comparison among all the mascaras I have to try on! hug from Italy!!!

This new Lancôme is way way way more “casual” than the new CT mascara. The CT is dramatic and dark. This is lightweight and feathery. The CT makes more of a statement. But sometimes we like that gentle look. Only sometimes. Haha. 🥰

Goodness, I love Mr. Big!!!! Now I am sounding like Carrie Bradshaw, but I mean this mascara!! I had heard great things about it and wholeheartedly agree with you that Lancôme rules when it comes to mascaras. I need to try this one. I got into colored mascaras a while ago and stopped purchasing black or brown ones, but goodness!!! The way you describe it is perfect. Not too wet, not too dry. Wet mascaras drive me nuts. Dry ones... let’s just say that I feel like calling them and saying “you sold me a tube of air with a wand inside of it.” And this one looks great on you, just perfect. Oh and the claims!!! 😂😂 Lashes to the ceiling!! Your lashes will climb Mount Everest and you will be dragged along!! 😂😂Yeah. Your lashes will look 367% longer and 475% thicker!!! Proven in clinical trials!!!!!! 😂😂😘😘

Sometimes I do replace things that I KNOW are old, even if they still smell great. Maybe ingredients degrade over time, who knows... Agreed. The three month rule seems a “better safe than sorry” rule that ends up in cash generated. The same goes for the time that eye palettes die. Literally does ANYONE follow the 18 month rule with eye palettes? Noooo. xx

I only use Mac giggablack on the bottom. It is the ONLY mascara that doesn’t transfer on my bottom lashes. My bottom lashes are long and my cheek bones are high. So it’s a mascara disaster Waiting to happen

Hi Kelsey! I did a review of it actually. I like it very much. It’s very buildable. The colors do not skip. But they are faint. That’s fine with me because I like to build slowly. It’s mistake proof that way. But it’s not exciting in terms of pigment and it’s not her longest lasting palette on the lids. So there are definite pros and cons. I actually think her matte Desert Haze palette is a bit better actually. But the Super Nudes is good. Just not her best. If you’re a collector, go for it. If not, save your cash for something else. 💜

I keep waiting for something that really grabs my attention and for some reason the color story did but I don’t want my first palette from her to be a dud (or not the best) so I’ll keep waiting. I might do one of the new Hollywood palettes though because the looks I’ve seen with those are gorgeous. (And buildable is alright as long as it doesn’t take a year to do a look in my opinion... I like things that are fast bc who has time to spend an hour doing your makeup in the morning)

@@kelseyc615 yesss the black in the super nudes palette is almost charcoal grey. It’s not an opaque black. Agreed entirely. You’re making the right decision. It’s too expensive, I agree, to just get it if you won’t enjoy it. I’d be so much happier if you were thrilled. And you won’t be thrilled with the Super Nudes. 💕

I’m dying to see how this mascara would work on straight, short lashes. I hate curling my lashes. The mini mascaras are great for those that don’t wear mascara most days. With the regular size, intermittent users often find that they have gone over the safe time to keep using the product once it’s been opened.

I agree with everything you say here! It’s hard to use up a mascara before it goes bad. I try to buy the minis whenever I can. This Lancôme is good on short straight lashes but won’t add enough curl. I like the Wayne Goss mascara for that actually.

I buy most of my makeup as minis since I use up the product and it’s better on my wallet!
