The foundation never sat well on my skin until their last formula change came out, been using it for a year now freaking love it 😊 I hope they are gonna stick with this formula.

Wow! Am surprised by the title! This is such an OG foundation and I’m shocked that they renewed/reformulated such an iconic foundation!

I'm sooo happy that you picked N2. Just ordered this shade online and was afraid that the shade would not match, but now I can rest assured because we have the same skin tone.

This is one of my all time favorite foundations. Right along with Chanel and Dior. I’m 54 with fairly normal skin, this doesn’t ever highlight those dry patches or oily spots that come along with the constant changes of being at this age. This really should be a part of everyone’s make up collection.

This is a holy grail foundation when I need something no-nonsense that will last all day. This line is also the only one where I've been able to find a true shade match for me.

This foundation has quickly become one of my favorites! I teach elementary school and it lasts all day!

I have used this foundation on and off for years. The old formula didn’t feel dry, but sometimes looked a little dry. The new formula doesn’t look dry so I like it better! Wears well too. Perfect for everyday.

I just got it a few weeks ago and I actually got a shade to light so I mixed my L’Oréal true match tinted serum and I absolutely love the two mixed together! It’s beautiful on the skin.

Love this better than any high end foundation I’ve tried. This also has no drying alcohols or fragrance so is perfect for my sensitive skin. The coverage is great and lasts all day on my combination (over 50) skin!

I really love this foundation! I work at Disney and wear a polyester costume and it wears so long through sweat and humidity. And I was actually able to find a shade that didn’t translate as orange on me (I have light to medium with olive undertones). It’s awesome.

I've always loved the original formula, but I tried the reformulated one recently, and I'm very happy with it. It looks natural and has just enough coverage for me. It stayed on the entire day, and has a smooth flawless texture. It didn't dry out my skin either. I will buy a shade just a tad deeper the next time, but other than that, I'm loving it!

It is SO convenient that you and I have the same skin color. Now, whenever I need a new foundation but I don’t know what shade to buy- I’ll just go to your channel! 🎉 I have a horrible past with constantly buying the wrong color and having to take it back to the store. I just bought the Este Lauder foundation and my shade was Ecru, so now I just need to get here and double check! It is a nice thing to find an influencer who wears your shade. ❤❤❤

Fun fact I personally don't know why but in Italy all the foundation comes with a pump drugstore and high end, true match foundation was launched in the beginning with a pump also all the maybelline one have a pump even when the American version don't. Love you Allie wish you all the best

I just bought your whole bag system for my trip to Hawaii. So excited. I got the pink.

I am a ride or die for the old True Match foundation. I’ve worn it for so many years!! I haven’t tried the new one yet.. honestly when I saw your video it made me nervous because “new” formulas are never as good lol But now I definitely want to try this new one and see how it compares to the old!!

I’ve been loving this foundation! I’ve been on the hunt for a new OG since they discontinued my favorite-Too Faced Peach Perfect. IMO, this one really compares to the Colourpop Pretty Fresh foundation. I really like both of them equally.

Thankfully in Australia we've always had a pump on this foundation. I must drag mine out and see how I still feel about it. Looks fabulous on you!

I still use the old formula. I love it. When I run out I'll buy the new formula with the pump. Your skin looked beautiful with the foundation. But then again you always look beautiful. Happiness and good health to your family

The formula is a little different than than the old one. The old one is a tiny bit thicker, and seem to dry my skin out by the end of the day. I like this one much better, it seems to be lighter and less drying. My skin is more on the dry side. Plus I am 60 and it doesn't settle in my lines as bad as the other one did. It is a keeper for me!😊

I'm so glad they added a pump! I've heard the foundation has changed a little from the original (I'm guessing so it can properly be pumped), but I'm totally willing to try it again! Hopefully someday Maybelline will add a pump to the Fit Me matte & poreless bottle 🤞

in the UK we've always had a pump for it but not heard of a revamp of it here. It's the only foundation I've tried that has matched my skin relative well (0.5N is the right shade but still a hair too yellow in the undertone, but nothing crazy thabkfully!, and the others are too dark XD). It also settles into my unfortunate frown lines less! The slight sheen as well is nice and isn't too deeply effected by my combo skin!

Hi. If 0.5N is too yellow try 0.5C - that is the color I use and it is perfection with my neutral slightly cool leaning undertone.

Allie, you look fantastic! Here's a question I've had for some time. When you use a sponge to "press it into the skin" with a liquid foundation, is the sponge dry or lightly damp or ? And same question with a powder foundation or finish? Love your channel and advice!

FINALLY L’Oreal added a pump dispenser! I don’t understood why it took them so long. I’d have even purchased a pump dispenser separately if they had sold one to fit the bottle. Back when I wore this foundation, I’d pour it into a small pump bottle - but it was so annoying having to do that, washing out the bottle and pump each time to eliminate bacteria. 😒

I ADORE the original one, so I’m kinda nervous about this new formula. I actually have about 3 bottles of the older formula, so It may be a while before I grab the new version. I pray it’s the same. 🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️

I’m so excited this was released with a pump. The original version was my daily foundation for years. Like you I think I quit using it due to the non-pump packaging.

I won’t be buying this on for a while, as I have a GLUT of foundation at my disposal at the moment, but I hope my shade is still around when I get to it. The True Match line is about the ONLY ONE in the drugstore that comes even close to a tone/undertone match. Estée Lauder is my jam in 1C1(Cool Bone). Alas , the Double Wear is the only one to brace a 12-hour shift under a mask.

I love it! I didn't like the way the old formula wore on me personally but this one is awesome. Reminds me of the Channel Velvet Lumiere Perfection foundation that they discontinued. Light formula but with coverage and a skin like finish. 👍🏻👍🏻 for me. Btw I'm 50 with combination skin, little fine lines and wrinkles.

I just bought it yesterday at Walgreens. I was using the old packaging and then I stopped because I became interested in another product even though I really like True Match. What I like are all the shades ranging from Cool, Warm and Neutral.

I remember this being so cakey on me in high school... Might have to try this new formula... Even though I always just end up going back to ol' faithful ( the original cover girl) so light and breathable if you can get past the noxema smell lol 😂 i do use the loreal infalable concealer with it if i need a little more coverage...

Picked up 2N. Possibly could have done 3N but let’s be honest, I’m still in my winter skin. Loved that target had testers. Very oily skin but paired with a mattifying primer, so far so good!

Just got this at Target yesterday. It was $10. I usually wear Estee Doublewear. I'm 61 w age spots. I wanted to try this....I'm excited to try and will use your brush/sponge method. (Not just brush as I normally do)

Hi Allie!!! Im getting married this October and I'm doing my own makeup. I have watched all your wedding tutorials and really love them. Could you do another one focusing on how to cover blemishes and scaring? I have acne prone skin which has cleared up for now, but I wouldn't be surprised if I started breaking out again. When my skin is problematic my makeup doesn't last very long and tends to either slide off my face or my skin is so dried out that any complexion products I apply emphasize dry patches on my skin. I love you and love watching your videos❤

The true match is called perfect match in Germany and we had always a pump. This is my favourite foundation for years now. I can use it blind and it sits beautiful on my skin. Always. The serum foundation is my favourite from them. It's quite masked proofed ( 95%). It's the best.

I also live in the EU so yes, we all have a pump on this foundation. At first, I was confused about what kind of foundation she is mentioning:)) but now I know it is the same we had here.

In Europe we have had foundations in pumps while in America they didn't with certain brands I know that the only one we don't have in a pump is the fit me matte and porless

It isn't the same foundation actually! The US formula and the EU/UK formula is completely different, I have tried them both. I was so excited to get the EU one with the pump but it was a whole different product :( L'Oreal and Maybelline often do that, they'll launch different products under the same name in the US market & internationally, and pretend the only difference is the packaging smh

There was one other remake after the one with the plain screw in lid, it is a dropper applicator. Not my favorite. I really like the new pump and it is a good everyday foundation!

I never tried this foundation because it didn’t have a pump. It’s crazy that it took them this long to come out with a pump, especially since everyone begged & begged for it & would’ve bought a pump on its own to attach to the bottle ourselves. I can’t imagine why they wouldn’t do that.

What eyeshadows did you use for this color combo? I like it because it's not the usual rosie tones. Am I the only one who doesn't like rosie/pink/reddish eyeshadow? I think those shades make the eyes look like they have a pink eye or a stye on their eyes.

i saw someone saying that they didn't like it because it doesn't have spf but you're supposed to wear spf itself always not not rely on foundation and also i love this formula way better than the last because the last was always kinda dry and came out cakey but the new one is the first one i've had that hasn't been cakey and actually matches my green/yellow undertones, which i think a lot of brands don't focus on

If i cant put a pump on a foundation i dip clean brush end to take out product...works great

I use to ware this as a teen and 20s I think the new one is more matte it's nice but I think it may be alittle to matte for my taste but it's workable.

I haven’t use that foundation in years when I first started wearing make up I use the original formula and the way that my skin is I don’t know if there was an alcohol base to it at the time but I remember it burning my skin and I almost left make up entirely because of that.

It's not a new formula. Just added a pump to packaging. I called the company and asked. It's been confirmed no change in formula.

In Australia the True Match line comes in pump.

Finally the pump. I had to replace my dropper one with a pump from an old wet n wild foundation.

Danggggg this was the foundation I used in college and I def used too much since you had to pour it into the back of your hand 🤣

This used to oxidize so much. Wonder if that got fixed?

L’Oréal is revamping a lot of there formulas in their skincare lines too.
