There is an edit button at the bottom of the screen To only show what you want on the home screen And it also allows you to change the number of apps on the list to only show your favourites And also to note the goggle TV layout will eventually be replacing the android TV layout

Heat review. I like the mecool products. I bought 3 of the km2 boxes to replace old first generation air tv boxes.

Love all your videos nice box will add to my collection of box. Do you have a video on how to enable ADB debugging on the shield 2019 Pro. Having problem with that!

Which did you prefer between the Km2 plus and the Km7 plus? Also would these have any issues running a VPN and then streaming? Basically multitasking... Thanks in advance Barry

Hi Barry, I'm so sorry, I did not see this question earlier. I think the KM7Plus will be a better performer. And sure, they can both handle a VPN without hindering your Streaming.

Only bought one Mecool device, it failed twenty minutes after the warranty expired, friend of mine had the same experience, will stick to my Firestick and Fire TV Cube 👍

Acquired Mecool km9 pro classic in 2019, transferred to Quince Pie-10 android and tvQuickActions on the remote control is an excellent device Wild Chipmunk River - Technozone Zero DROPS.🔭🐦

Cool review but no one is mentioning whether or not it can use ntfs or exfat formatted sd cards or hard disk drives? To play video files larger than 4gb (fat32)? Do you know if it can do this?

FAT32 only, as with most devices I've seen.

Which is better : the KM7 plus or the KM2 plus? I'm a bit confused about the two and want to know which one would be the better performer

Did you catch my video on the KM2 Plus? kzread.info/dash/bejne/q2SD1dStdKqYmpM.html It probably comes down to Spec's. (and price). Personally, I was more impressed with the KM2 Plus.

Is there a list of all the video and audio formats this device supports?

@@TheBman3rd You again? I'm glad you really like stock-everything, but do us all a favor and stop trying to police the way people use their devices. I would want to know the amount of customization I can apply to any device I might buy. It's an important factor to me, and many other people. Mess up Google TV? I have zero use for those quick launch buttons as they are. If I can remap it to open an app I actually use, that would be beneficial to me. If I can set a custom launcher as primary, that would be handy to me, but tremendously beneficial to my mother, as I can customize everything to meet her visual needs. And it looks like, yes, you probably can remap those buttons.

We are looking for a good model among them, and we do not find a device that meets the purpose in terms of processor, memory, and support in supplementary programs such as Netflix, and so on ???? why Mecool do that😳

What is the Bluetooth version of this box? 5.0 or 4.2?

If your budget allows, the Invidia shield, otherwise the miku km 2 plus or the Homatics 4k R Plus

Why is HDR not working in the KM2 Plus? It is turned on, but it does not give the HDR signal, it only comes in plain 4K

I would check your port to make sure that it supports HDR. It sounds like the port could be bad or you don’t have the device in the right hdmi port.

@@fredreed2001 The port is not at fault! Km2 Plus can't output HDR at the moment! They complain about this on several forums

The older KM2 plus is actually better/faster but a bit more expensive.

Unfortunately, the company is floundering in setting specifications and quality control. I have addressed them why this dispersion in setting some specifications and canceling others!!! The customer stands at a loss and may turn away from it!

@@TheBman3rd local network content of 4k bluray rips at high bitrates on Kodi is one of the reasons

Be careful with this company if you get any problem they never reply to any email or on the site.
