@@anowarsayeed5761 I have the new 1.5 Turbo Petrol DCT which I got in April this year. I have done a couple of road trips to the mountains with 5 people and full of luggage. I didn't face any lack of power whatsoever. The mileage on the highways has been excellent, around 15 kmpl. I doubt this verdict by Carwale since it seems theoretically inaccurate.

What is the Global NCAP safety rating of this car ?

Any idea when the Update/Upgrade of the Carens is likely to be launched? Some say September 2023??

September has come and gone. We only got an X Line variant of the Carens with no real feature addition.

Ninad When do you expect the face lift of kia carens

Thsi guy suggested Kia to bring features in lower variants.

I think there is a problem with the tested car, I use the 1.5 turbo Carens, had a testdrive of 1.4 turbo as well, I am getting more performance and mileage in 1.5 turbo.

Yes, 1.5 T is faster than 1.4 T and more efficient also. I have seen comparison in overseas for KIA ceed as well as other reviews in India also. Try to drag race between 1.4 & 1.5 T.

If running costs are a priority, the NA 1.5 Petrol Carens will be the better choice In terms of performance and fun to drive factor, the diesel is better

Kia has updated the Carens with the BS6 Phase 2 engines and made some changes to features offered in each trim. We do not expect the MPV to receive any more updates anytime soon

What mileage we can expect from naturally aspirated engine? Should we go for naturally aspirated or turbo for better efficiency?

Won't speculate as the BS6 Phase 2 norms have changed how these engines react. The only trend we are seeing is that turbocharged engines are struggling under the new norms, both in terms of performance and efficiency

iMT may be better in the city, but DCT has more ratios to play with at mid to higher speeds
