I really hope this let's us explore Isla Nublar in its entirety. I would love to be able to visit the hotels and guest sections they had built, the paddocks of the other animals on the park maps that did not make the film, as well as other attractions that we maybe didn't get to see. It would be amazing!

"Cautiously optimistic" is the name of the game, that's the term that keeps coming to my mind. I WANT to be excited, but God knows we've been burned too many times before. And that "cautious optimism" isn't just for this game but for the next JP/JW movie as well - I really want to believe that Spielberg (and Marshal) wouldn't have fought as hard as they did to preserve their and Koepp's script and protect it from corporate-meddling if it wasn't going to finally be the "return to formula" Jurassic Park/World film we've been wanting and waiting for. Nevertheless, even Spielberg (as much as he is my favorite filmmaker and storyteller of all time) has put out some duds, especially in recent decades (same with Koepp), so I know that it's not automatic that it'll be a fantastic film. But still... I have hope, for it and for JP: Survival. All of my fingers and various extremities are CROSSED.

I made a video showing everything I found from the old Jurassic Park Survival on PS2 from Savage Entertainment, which was canceled in 2001, for those who want to watch, it's the most recent video I posted, it was very good, it's 11 minutes of video, just showing images, Concept Art, magazine articles, scenes from the trailer, a document they found on an E3 DVD.

Anyone else find it a little suspicious that Universal announces this game just a few weeks after sending a cease and desist letter to Krenautica for his open-world Jurassic Park game on PS5 Dreams? Universal even said in their letter "your game is so good, people might confuse it with an officially-licensed product, so stop it"

It is already able to be on wishlist for ps5, it is about as ready as everything else

According to the description they have made the entire island for you to explore with fully reactive wildlife. Also the rating probably due to death animations and blood. Would be crazy if it was GamePass day one title and it gets revealed at the Xbox Showcase on June 9th

70 GB, I'd imagine most of that is for the graphics, plus if it's a massive open world map of nublar? I still think this will have similar mechanics like alien isolation, just with dinosaurs.

What would be so cool for this game is a prologue where we see the scientist looking at the visitor centre and seeing hammond and grant ect driving away from it in the jeep and seeing a helicopter take off with them in it and that where we first start the games prologue

Definitely with Summer Games Fest all this week and it being a big showcase for games coming up during the major gaming season this fall and into next year....it would seem to be our best bet if any that we will get a new trailer and/or release details were it to release for the holidays. It would be extremely odd to forgo this week and STILL release the game in Oct-December this year.

Troodons. All I can think about with that horror rating is troodons. Those things constantly lurking in the shadows ready to get you will be unnerving and would work to nail the horror.

I hope they didn't rush the development too much. I'm also kind of hoping there will be some other human characters worked in, somehow, someway. A trailer of gameplay for Jurassic June would definitely make me a happy camper but I also would take any new revelations about any future releases, at this point.

What I think would make this game great is a multiplayer and proximity cgat. Imagine running from raptors with your friends lmao

Honestly, I think the studios have finally seen how much people want the IP to return to the horror element. They see the fan re-creations, the stories, the reviews of the latest movies etc. They probably also saw how popular that specific fan-made game was becoming (you know which one).

Memory storage may not necessarily imply a large game. Call of Duty games tend to have absurdly large memory storage for the content they actually contain. The upcoming BlackOps 6 game has a required 300 Gig memory space for download. So, this JP game space of 70 Gigs may imply something else. It can imply that the developers either built up coding debt on the game engine or could/did not compress the JP game files.

Hopefully we get some legit pre-order links for the Jada 18th Explorer Die-cast too.

I'm optimistic. Whatever happens, I'm sure it's going to be a fun game

For all intents and purposes, it seems like it is going to be on-par with what Alien: Isolation was. It seems like it’s going to be so similar.

it doesnt look like saber is coming to summer games fest because the official SGF's image of studios coming doesn't have saber on it. unless the game, or both JWE3 and JPS, get revealed by playstation or xbox (unlikely)

This is my dream game, but i will only play it when i can play it in VR.

In my experience when a game gets a pre install on Xbox it's about 6 months from release.

Off topic but what do you think of the Megalodon finally being in Jurassic Park in Jurassic World: Evolution 2?

Its funny cause on my steam it list the only game I've got like it is Sons of the Forest

70GB could just mean no compression or poorly done compression (The Star Wars Battlefront Classic collection for instance was 70GB, and Jedi Survivor was 150GBs which is insane given there is no online component to it - Survivor just straight up didnt get any compression). Install size isn't always indicative of game length/scope.

You are so fucking delusional it isn’t even funny. This game has been in active development for at least 3 years. Do you honestly believe that they cranked out a full alpha stage game just days after you sent something to Jurassic Outpost?? JO didn’t give a toss about your post credit scene of the raptor in the freezer. It’s been theorized for YEARS that the raptor could have gotten out. Again, don’t honestly believe at Saber really cranked out an almost full ass game just days after you sent some fan made post credit scene to Jurassic Outpost????
