New Info on V Rising - DevBlog Summary
V Rising will take the smooth combat of Battlerite and package it in a Survival / MMO like game. With a big open world, tons of PvE and progression, basebuilding, full loot PvP, Castle Raids and much more!
I believe the game will appeal to a broad audience who enjoy genres like ARPGs, MMOs, Survival Games, maybe MOBAS even.
I haven't been this excited about a new game since Battlerite.
The beta will be available at the end of Q1 with the next step being Early Access!

Damn, this really looks gorgeous, I really hope the core gameplay loop wont be too repetitive, and that the game will have a real depth in content, progression and gameplay/combat.

I have faith in the gameloop, cause I know I love SLS combat. That's a very solid foundation and if paired with good progression, which seems to be the case, it'll probably be quite engaging.
I'm glad you keep your progress because I know I'll have toxic neighbors
It makes me think of Guild Wars 1, the way you'd need to capture key abilities from certain special enemies.
can't wait to fight you on the battlefield :D

heck yeah!
So exciting. I wonder if these pve blood bosses would lead to pvping to control the pve boss to get the best power ups. Think like fighting over the Baron buff or Dragons in League of Legends

Yes you use WASD to move. The game will enter Early Access on May 17. It's gonna be exciting!

The game is under NDA but I just recently was able to playtest it for the first time. Content will come soon :)
I imagine players could be invested in the long run, I would be very surprised to see the developers invest in the long run though, stunlock makes good games but they should not publish their own games
hope they let us change the viewing angle a bit with right click, its a little bit too high and close. this game has more hope than any game currently, by far. stunlock really needs to do a long closed beta and LISTEN TO THEIR PLAYERS. they also need to hire an 18 year old to post on their insta/tiktok/twitter/fb everywhere at least 3-4x daily with clips. their marketing is abysmal.
