Am I the only one who loves those chairs!!?? I think they DO add warmth to the room with that light color, and also break the all grey-black color palet.. plus, the design of them is really beautiful

Emily I think you need to take a bow! My goodness you are a very gifted multitalented lady. You just opened all of those huge box and put the pieces right together with such grace. Climbing up the ladder with the paint left me speechless. Hanging the television and painting all by yourself. Your home is so gorgeous and I love the pieces you chose.It all flows perfectly and I do like the chairs.Enjoy your new home!!!

fabulous, I agree I say ya needs a square coffee table and keep it more in a semi-dark wood tone, it will make it more expensive. them 2 chairs are fabulous I would stain them in a darker as you said. Try the chairs on the other side and switch the end of the couch to the other side. I would do two mirrors as you said in the sides of the chimney, they sell them at Walmart for 50$ we own 2 and put back them trees they are awesome oh and also add a couple of fun pillows to break the grey couch a bit. but ya did absolutely fabulous. great job. love everything.

I’ve found that when I pray, and wait on the Lord, He will give me the perfect vision for a space (or fireplace mantle 😄). The living room is beautiful! Really like the rug.

The black wall is a win! And the couch and rug are beautiful, but the chairs kill the space for me. I like your idea of getting rid of the chairs, opening up that space and adding onto the couch. It's taking shape and looking good, a great start for sure!

I hope you do the driftwood. It would bring a little bit of softness and texture. It would also pick up some of the rug colors and carry them to that side of the room. Love your videos.

Hi Emily, I would do more couches. I do like how you painted the wall black. Excited to see what else you do to your home.

Such a freakin rock star. Moving all that heft and bulk like a wonder woman. The the ladder balance while wearing socks and precision cutting...award winning. Did anyone but me notice she had 2 inches of masking paper edge to her new floor with that gallon of paint pour, and it didn't phase her ... she is that confident she won't spill. Black wall fabulous decision. Who you kidding woman? Nothing from scratch here, pro all the way. PS. those little custom fit paper/fabric protective covers your furniture arrived in, can easily be folded and stored. They are brilliant to use for a move or any time you are doing a new project with dust etc.

Love the chairs...just not in this space. I like your idea of adding to the sectional. I am obsessed with the fireplace! Thanks for sharing. 😍

I really like the chairs, but agree painting the wood black would make them fit the room better. Beautiful room!

How fun for your family to have a new home. It looks like you have a beautiful area also. I was impressed by your black wall. When we moved into a new home I struggled with the paint. I could decorate and do a lot of things, but painting wasn’t one of them. You made a great choice with the rug. It is beautiful. Enjoy 😉 life to the fullest. Time flies fast. Emily, the living room looks absolutely beautiful. I agree, I do not like the chairs. If they were a different color it would look better. The black wall over the fireplace looks really great. It was to much white and really makes it homier. You have done a great job! Your older boy was quite helpful in this video. He is so handsome!

Put a large tray on the ottoman to set drinks and decor, then you can move the tray for seating, or 2 smaller tables put together to make a coffee table that would be easier to move. Just ideas 💡 TFS 🧡

Plug in or make it a LED touch lamp battery run for special occasions use. Like lanterns with puck lights inside the lid. Aimed down, then can add decor inside like a cloche.

I love your living room! I think I would go with a round coffee table or 2 smaller round tables that can be moved around.

Everything is very nice, I love the fireplace but I don't think those chairs look right in that space. I would for sure get another table as well, maybe something more rustic I think would look nice. Love the couch and rug! Just an idea - remove the chairs and table in front of the couch. Add more couch sections down the side and a thin black table that runs along the back of the couches. I think that would look so good!

I wasn’t sure about the chairs either until you panned out. When you did and I could see the full picture, I really liked it. They balance out the room nicely and yet keep an open look because they are open on the sides and bottom. You could use a gel stain to darken the wood if that is your preference. I like those chairs well enough that I’m thinking of going to Target to grab a couple. I love what you have.done with the living room. Beautiful home. Can’t wait to see more.

I love the black tv wall, just enough black. I like your layout, but I agree the chairs need to be a bit darker. ALIEN TAPE will hold your rug down til it flattens, it’s clear and comes up with no residue! Looking great so far! Thanks for sharing and congratulations again on your new home! 👍🏻🙂🏡

Add more parts of the sectional, you have the perfect idea in your head. Yes I have the same couch and we add more parts and is little money but is is worth it...because is really nice, I love your rugs. After Christmas you should add some shelves in the side...Listen all I know is you always got it right. I love everything you do!!

I just brought this couch. Did you scotchguard it too? I've never scotch guarded and don't know if its worth it. Also how's the couch?
