Amy's palette is my favorite Adept palette of all time now. The cheek palette has also been on repeat as my every day blush and highlight combo. As a deep skin toned person, I'm super impressed by how well *all* of the colors in her palette work for me despite being cooler toned 🤗

Right? I'm 45 and I work at Ulta with mostly peeps in the 20-30 age bracket with many between 18-24. Some of them are truly lovely, mature, responsible "kids" that I not only enjoy working with but some that I even hang with outside of work. I also race cars, which tends to be a sport with a LOT of older people, especially men north of 40 and well into their 60's and 70's (you know, the people with the money for it, lol). It's amazing how as you grow up, age truly does become "just a number". I find myself forever connecting with people of similar backgrounds, hobbies, and beliefs rather than age.

The last look is actually my favourite!

I think the Oslo palette has a great neutral color story and i guess sometimes more subtle shimmers are easier to use and more work appropriate.

It is getting a little bit saturated out there 🧡Thank you for this overview. This format is great. The Dede Signature palette is the standout for me. Your work with colour is next level

I use dark eyeshadows as a pencil/eyeliner all the time. I find that so much easier and I avoid to waste time and money with eyeliner. :) Nice looks!

The nomad shadows look SO weak, but the cool-leaning teal shadow on you with the warm yellow-green eyeliner and your eye color is an editorial masterpiece! One of my most fave looks you've done! I hope you keep doing these 4 palettes 4 looks. I think this format would work with larger brands as well. With so many releases I would rather get a sample of what a palette (or blush, or lipstick, etc) can do rather than 4 or 5 looks with the same palette. Since you always come back a month later to do a roundup of everything you tried, you then give us a more in depth review on how the makeup performed and whether or not you liked the formula. Have fun in LA. Our weather has been on the cooler side (low 70s) so you will have a little break from the TX heat. 🌞

I love the 4 palettes/4 looks videos. It showcases Indie brands and the looks and tutorials are long enough, in my opinion to get a great idea about them. Glad this is a great year for you so far!! It is hard to find a balance!

Thoughts: I really want to try adept! I hope they keep older releases in stock bc I’m not quick to buy during release day or even year lol and with indie is always harder to tell what’s limited edition (for non-collabs) I think I’ve never heard of Dede signature until this palette- where have I been? lol it’s pretty but it doesn’t draw me in personally Fantasy Cosmetica also always gives me a double take! I’ve never tried them but this palette also looks so pretty! Nomad used to grab my attention often, but lately they’ve fallen off for me personally. I love the idea behind the brand as a traveler, but I can always say no to a new palette from them.

5:06 That is just so sad. I had to get off of Instagram as I was being shadow banned for normal comments. I mean like "hi liked blah blah, thanks for posting" type of thing. Big brother can have it.

It's a shame you weren't keen on the shadows for the last look, those tones were absolutely perfect for your eye colour, just stunning! Is it my imagination or could you have done something similar with that Colourpop palette with the teals/greens/etc?

I do acrylica at a salon & then recently Ive been enjoying painting them myself at home :)

Part of me loves having people in my circle in different ages/ phases of life... but as someone who is constantly around 50-60 year olds... i cannot imagine them being my friends? i imagine it's because they work with me BUT i also, while as a 27 year old can learn from them, we have nothing in common when they have kids my age and grandbabies my daughter's age

I'm not a biggest fan of adept palette as some shades are repeating, but you look amazing!
