In theory, this is a great update. Not just because of the strategic implications, but also because of how this will make clan wars more lively and incentivise using your attack. However this can be taken into a predatory direction where you force people to spend more money to compete

No fr. This update might seem good, but it’s just another money trap that’s gonna make the game extremely P2W now. The heroes especially the queen are insanely nerfed until you unlock and upgrade the rarer equipments.

completely disagree, this is actually the end of strategic attacks, and the beginning of spam attacks. With these crazy abilities, the heroes are getting massive buff like (a level 1 barbarian king can destroy max level walls with his boot ability, grand warden has a portable rage/heal spell which stays for 25 seconds, etc.) And don't forget all the defenses from every town hall are getting nerfed. which means it is much much much easier to 3 star now. Forget abt spending any money bruh nobody will do that when the game is so fkn easy

The thing about coc is that you could be horrible at the game and still progress. The only people that would see any update as p2w are the level 25 clans that all take the game way too seriously. But then again, literally anything supercell adds to the game will be able to be seen as a cash grab by your logic since it’s just adding more to the game for people to buy and have an advantage of! There’s always someone worse than you at coc, you just have to look for them and in clash, it only costs .001% of the gold you have to look for another opponent.

About the epic equipment: It is only available during special events. But does that mean if you miss said special event, that you won't ever get this particular equipment or will there be something like re-runs?

I think the equipment upgrades don’t use up any time, so you would just need the recourses. Why they can’t do this with heroes and pets as well? I have no idea…

wow, i kinda predicted this part of the update :D I guess I had similar thoughts with Supercell in the development of the Heros, this are some nice features to keep the game fresh, look forward for future updates :D

This feature is what I was waiting for.🔥🔥🔥But I wish if we could use both selected abilities at diffrent times as per situation.

It might be little bit complicated but it is interesting to see how the dev team is implementing new ideas in the game, but I think instead of introducing more levels of heroes and troops SC should work on some old troops like valks, pekka, golem etc, nowadays this troops are rarely used in higher TH levels.. ❤💙

Man this is amazing, i was thinking as a th13 i will just get some cost and time reductions in this update, but this thing made my day, Lets Gooooo !!!!!

I really like this update, but the hero equipments are even harder to be collected then the hero abilities (which you were supposed to upgrade your heros to level 5 to unlock their own abilities),but now, if you want to upgrade them, it requires different resources for each level, where some of them are extremely rare (like starry ore), whict takes a lot to earn it and this thing needs to be improved, by making to upgrade the hero equipments by only using a single resource(instead of using 2 or 3 resources for each level), which I assuming that is gonna be more easy to max them. In addition, the epic equipments (which are also hard to be earned like the starry ore) to make them to be more easy to get them, and not only that to decrease the number of their levels (to have 18 levels the same as common ones, even they are more powerful), but like that is gonna feel much more easier, as well as for the free to play players to make their own heros more powerful faster. I would like to hear your thoughts.

I thought town hall 16 will have the same stuff but this is great the game just gets better

Limited time events just stinks of a cash grab… plus what happens to existing hero’s, do my level 80 now have level 1 abilities?

I kind of guessed they might add alternate Hero Abilities, but I would never have guessed they would add modular ones! Awesome!

It's nice that lower town halls get something new in this update too

I can't imagine that additional equipment will be added 😮, I've been playing since 2015 and the game always develops from year to year, hopefully this is the year of COC's revival❤

also i used to see 2 buttons on heroes in previous sneak peaks , thought it was ability to change pets but it was this equipment thing

Did nobody else notice the frozen arrow and the giant gauntlet I'm sure those will be the next items if they haven't been scraped. Funny how the king and queen have 5 items and the champion only has the basic 2.

This is so great, you guys do a realy good job on just everything!

I was skeptical at first, but so far I am loving the new update. Hero equipment seems pretty cool, and I appreciate that higher level heros got the base equipment to be equal with what their abilities were before. Actually, seems they rounded up too, my queens invis lasts like 0.3 seconds longer than before the update for example.

Am i the only one who left the game after this hero equipment update …. It just made me worry abt more things than it already had. And only 2 or 3 ways to get resources to upgrade them. Or P2W. Anyways it was good when it lasted 😊

Will certain equipment be for a one time event or paid for? It would be horrible to make players weaker because they did not play for a specific time or did not pay.

Ikr! I tot we were done after the sneak Peak yesterday, this wasn't something I was expecting today

I like these new things in the game, but I feel like it could be good to have CoC old school, same as with runescape old school

So long as they don't add limited time exclusive abilities like the rainbow emotes from clash Royal this will be good. Although, what about the people in clans too small for clan war, or clanless people

the video includes so many stuff. I was overwhelmed . couldn't keep up with most of things mentioned in it

Hopefully the epic equipment events last forever, or are on a cycling schedule, so if you miss one you can still wait a few months or so and get them late.

There’s 3 types of CoC players: Pros Lazy casuals - dragon spammers and/or stick to 1 strat Non-lazy casuals - practice diff strategies and actually play the game The last several updates were in favor of only one of the groups. I think they’re on the verge of losing a significant # of ppl from the other two

First of all I'd like to thank the entire clash team for these amazing updates. However, I find upgrading the hero abilities separately is quite tedious. Like it was better when we used to upgrade a hero and it's ability got upgraded along with it but upgrading your heroes and then their abilities? That's hectic. Then again we have pets. In short, the abilities should be upgraded alongside the heroes with a common ability level.
