New Hellfire Missiles Just Tripled the Reaper Drone’s Range
A new long-range Hellfire air-to-surface missile was recently tested by the National Guard. The test revealed that the new missile significantly increased the range of the Hellfire-by a factor of three. The Air National Guard Air Force Reserve Command Test Center (AATC) recently participated in Valiant Shield 2022, a 12-day joint training exercise aimed at bolstering the collaborative ability of US Military forces by conducting integrated operations with the Air Force, Army, Navy, and Marine Corps, according to a press release.

20,000 KM range is pretty good for small little missile.. almost seems impossible, but the video said it so it must be true. That's the distance from the north pole to the south pole.

Hi Neil. You must be right. Has to be metres and not km. I mean 22,000 km? But they did repeat it. And it's defense TV which I thought was respectable.

On a second listening, metres and km were conflated. Oh, KZread.
