As an Infinia Enthusiast, this card seems good to me. I have 7 lakh limit on my DCB card with last 6 months spending around 6.5 lakh. Applied to DCB Metal via email upgrade & it’s approved. What are the chances of getting an enhanced limit on the new card?

I have been told that my joining fee for 1st year will be removed if i spend 1.5L in first 90 days. Is that true?

Hi Niraj, i end up spending about 25 lakhs a year on my dcb plastic, hence achieving 4 lakhs spend a quarter isn't a problem. Most spends are not on accelerated rewards, just retail, school fees and insurance spends. Considering i can achieve 40000 additional rewards for the quarterly bonus and not having too many spends on accelerated rewards, should i get the diners metal or infinia (both of which i have got approved for)? Same situation here I think I can extract more rewards from dcb metal rather than infinia as a spending of 15-20 lakh annually.

will exclusion list such as wallet transaction, government transaction part of milestone calculation ?

Did not get what you mean by "1 point will get you a reward rate of 1.8₹" wrt Accor redemption?

1 point is worth 1.8 rupees. If a room night costs 1800, you pay 1000 points

Why do you say infinia is better than dcb metal ? I spend 4 laks every quarter

Hello. Niraj, i have a quick question regarding Infinia and hope you can help out since you own one. As you are aware, the joining fee for infinia is 12.5k + GST and incase we are not meeting 3 lakh transaction criteria within 90 days, joining fee needs to be paid. Is it true that entire 12500 reward points will be credited to the account ( which ideally means that we end up paying just the GST ) or is there some other criteria which will decide how many reward points will be credited ?

You should get a preapproved offer for an upgrade. Just wait it out or while renewal ask them for a metal variant. Coz ideally PVC is discontinued, ideally after a certain point if you request for a block and replace greater chances are you get a metal version.

My hdfc representative asked me to spend 6+ lakhs in 6 months for me to be upgraded to Infinia If I am not able to get Infinia I am thinking of getting DCB, but is it good enough??

You mentioned no RPs on utility bills. But I'm get RPs for utility payment on my dcb. Will I lose that if I upgrade to this card?

Far better than Regalia gold ,,,, Regalia gold is a Premium credit card and DCB is the Super premium credit card.

Rather than just speaking in the air, make some ppt template or something and try to explain in nice manner. You are just in front of camera and speaking speaking. You understand your concepts and credit card details but as audience couldn’t hold up this much of information. Add some text to your video. Take efforts. Unsubscribing you for now.

Yeah, even I didn’t see fuel surcharge benefit in the dcb metal features page.

I was holding the dcb plastic card and I upgraded it to metal. To be very frank it's my worst decision. There is no logic behind the card. No annular benefits... No monthly benefits. Who in the world will spend 4L in quarter on regualr basis... I will cancel my card soon.. N would better go for infinia
