it's the same for Lotr. They did Frodo, Gollum, Gandalf and Sauron with same height. That's why I get only Sauron.

I wish they would start to make collectables which are more art inspired than replicas of the actors faces again. I collect old pre film HP merchandise which was mainly produced by Enesco. This naturally focused on the first few books and the figures inspiration was taken from the book art. I wish that would be taken up again.

I collect a lot of pre-film stuff as well, but I agree that they probably won't go back to that since the ''Wizarding World ' is now it's own massive brand. Just makes our stuff more valuable! 😃

I was just watching A Very Potter Musical but this is just as good lol

My mum has a figure of Dobby which she bought at a Barnes & Noble. It doesn't come with a stand and is almost twice the size of that Noble Collection one. His limbs bend just the same though. I'm not into collecting action figures/statues like that but I do admire the details on them.

Dobby looks like a repackaged figure that was released individually a while back. I actually picked him up at Books-A-Million over the summer discounted. Glad to see him brought back. I thought he was well done and actually fits to scale with the Mattel figures for my display. Fun set. Thanks for sharing!

Hermione and Dobby are my faves cause they look the most the movies. Also they would be the two id buy. I hope they do a Ron in the future.

Just got the dobby bendy fig today and I love it my only complaint is that he doesn’t have a sock.. they all have wands in there hands it just doesn’t seem like there was any reason not to add the sock , but besides that just happy to have dobby in my collection lol

Dobby, is the best sculpt by far and the best figure. The others don't look like their actors they look more like a concept of them. I feel like these are testing-the-water figures and based on feedback the other figures will be better.

As far as action figures go these are more along the lines of children’s toys, which is not to say they aren’t highly collectible to adults, but generally action figures collectors look more to hard plastic figures with joints as that will always give you better character likeness and pain will last much longer. It’s difficult to for rubber to be molded into very detailed sculpts so manufacturers generally have much “softer” details that make the figures much more cartoon like as you noticed. In addition any paint on the bendy areas will begin to chip with more and more bending. Also the holes on the back of Dobby are actually present on all the figures’ bendable parts, it is what allows the wire underneath the rubber exterior to move inside without the rubber tearing, however the rubber does have its limits and will eventually tear in any places that are bent enough times. There aren’t many Harry Potter action figures to begin with however so these are still pretty exciting.

They seem to do this to him nearly every time! I was just saying in my comment about how I remember the original dolls I got of these characters back in 2000 (I think after the first movie), and there was NO RON DOLL. He'd been my favorite character in the first movie, so I remember being upset about that. I wonder what gives? He's certainly no less important than Hermione just because he's a male friend...

I so love Hermione ! But I can't help but wonder why they made Dobby instead of Ron. Dobby looks like the normal bendable one made by Noble Collection that I own, even the holes on the back are the same

Dobi is my favorite, followed by Harry, Hermione, then Dumbledoor.

These are a nice quality but cheaper alternative to things like Star Ace figurines

How well do these action figures look in a 1:6 scale line up. How does say dobby look next to the sixth scale Harry Potter year one action figure

Hey Peter... in my opinion and im sure many as well, the best action figures are from HOT TOYS. They are expensive but worth it for what you get.. they are like 90% accurate
