You will never regret having a pug in your life....my Franklin is now 12 1/2 years old and has lost the majority of control in his hind legs....but his spirit and love of people is solid. We take our longer walks still, but he has the option now of going in a stroller which I purchased....he walks, then goes in stroller then whines to get out and walk some more. I will do whatever I can for him because he has been such a pal to me...a very bright light in my life.

Nice video. Harness looks great. Love seeing outdoors where the boys run off energy. You might have to buy Pablo a saddle if Winston won't stop trying to ride on his back.

We're from Ohio and are getting our fair share of rain with very little hope for a break soon. Maybe one day this week. Fortunately, we have a fenced in backyard. The dogs do well there. We have a pug and a 40 pound brindle terrier mix. They keep each other entertained. Thank you for the video.

I am a huge fan of your channel. Would you show a video of how you measured Pablo and Winston for their harnesses. We have small dogs and are having a hard time finding a harness that fits.

Voyager's step-in harnesses are also excellent for pugs, and much cheaper :) With a lot of harnesses I've tried, my pug can slip her head out simply by backing up, because there isn't much difference between the width of her head and the width of her neck and she's a stubborn little monster. The Voyager is highly adjustable, though, and she can't wiggle her way out. Unfortunately, the edges (although padded) do come close to the underside of her front legs - perhaps I'll try the Julius when they start stocking the XS.

Yup, I'm in the USA. I hadn't heard of them either, but it was well-rated on Amazon. (Would also recommend Gooby for winter vests, but their harnesses aren't very impressive).

Pugs shouldn't really wear collars as it can restrict their already restricted breathing, But maybe we can get them wearing little coloured bandanas or something to split them apart 😁

That Pug Pablo & Co Thank you for reply and explaining why collars are considered too restricting with their breathing ! Certainly we DONT want that ! I can to a extent see the difference between the boys as Winston is on the move whereas Pablo is a very chilled out dog ! I have to say Pablo is very loving and PATIENT with his younger brother, he doesn’t mind Winston in his face most of the time lol 😂. Clearly Winston ADORES his older brother 🥰😘😍 which is a delight to see ! Take care guys, you do a fantastic job with the boys and I hope everything with Karl’s car, insurance etc will all be resolved as speedily as possible !

I have such a hard time finding harnesses for our pugs as our one Pug can back out of them. Hoping to try this one as maybe it will help

Hey, winston isn’t wearing the vest anymore, back to his mischievous self, you look like you’ve healed a lot better than before Karl. I saw a pug when picking up my kids, his name was winston, he was a chunky boy, loves attention and kisses.

We don't have mosquitos here, we have midges though, they're not too much bother, the boys never get affected by them :)

Very good comparison video. Putting the harnesses side-by-side was helpful. Also, showing the closeup back sizing info was very good. I note the small is for dogs down to 20 lbs. My dogs are 18 and 19 lbs. One veterinarian said they should probably be a little lighter weight. In the U.S., the rule for judging correct weight; is to view the animal from above. The dog should be narrow in the waist area. My dogs are. But maybe they should be a little lighter. I note that Julius makes harnesses for much larger dogs; up to abt 77 lbs. In the U.S., many dogs are too fat. Like their owners. Most pugs I see are much fatter. My dogs always want to eat. I give them cooked green beans. Low calorie, but they get something. Some questions: how much do your dogs weigh? Pablo looks to be an ideal weight. What do you feed them when they have eaten; but are still hungry? Are you still doing your weekly?, in depth coat grooming to control their shedding? Thanks.

Pablo is about 20~21lbs but Pablo is quite a big pug but we think he's an ideal weight like you say when you look from above or even form the side he's the 'ideal' look. Winston is around 15lbs but he's still growing so it's hard to say if thats good or not. It's very rare either of the boys look for food between meals but we usually give them Lily's Kitchen woof brushes which are dental chews, good for their teeth and fills them up :) We're brushing Pablo now twice a week as he's shedding his winter coat for the summer, Winston's adult coat is just starting to come in so we're doing a gentle brush on him once a week :)

I think Winston might be bigger in terms of height but Pablo will be bigger in terms of bulk, Winston looks to be slimmer build .. but we shall see!
