The spooky definitely looked more vibrant. Interested in the look after a couple washes. Thanks for sharing!

Hey Maria! So far so good after a few washes! I agree, the Spooky was more vibrant than the Boo, but that could have been just the colors the designer used.
Thank you Crystal I love being a gold member of design bundles.

Thank you Deborah!! So glad you like it ❤️
I just purchased some locally in South Africa and instructions are to spray a coat lightly (the lady actually showed me by spritzing it in the air like two times) and let dry well. Put picture on and once done give another light coat and let dry again. I have done my first coating and tomorrow will do the sublimation part. Hold thumbs🙏

Hi Jacqueline! That is such a great tip! I will try it this way as well 😊 How did it turn out?
Should the shirts be washed in cold water or just how I normally do my laundry. I used the spray last week for the first time on a 100% cotton shirt and I love it!
That spray is awesome, it works great. I was so skeptical at first when I first tried it on the 100% cotton. It works amazing on poly cotton also.

I use similar sprays. Shaking is a must, I use a little more spray & use a roller to get the spray into the fabric instead of it sitting on top of the fabric.

Hey Mandy! That is a great tip! Thank you for sharing! We appreciate everyone sharing their experiences with the spray and it helps everyone in our amazing crafting community.
I wonder if it would improve the color transfer on low polyester content fabrics, like a 50/50.
I used this on a shirt about 4 months ago and the design looked good but it does fade wash after wash. But if you are only doing it for a shirt you will only wear a few times each year I think this is great!!

Yay ! Glad you like them !
Would you use the big heat press with same temperature?❤
I have used this and it does work, but I recommend on something that doesn't get washed as often. like maybe a canvas totebag. It will fade alot over time, but still good if you are just making some quick shirts that will only be worn a couple times 😉

I was checking this out on Amazon. There are some good reviews but there are some that say it washed right out, also some that say its not meant for darker colors. Have you washed anything and is it holding up. What is your opinion on this since its been a couple of months. I value your opinion.
@DesignBundles

Judy the shirts I did held up great I lost a little color on one in the wash. It’s definitely a learning curve of how much to spray. You want to stick with light colors and my only complaint was it did clog quickly we used it live awhile back and I struggled to get it to spray
Very nice tutorial. I don't think I will ever use that spray. I just did some 100% cotton shirts for my grandkids using the clear sublimation HTV and they all came out perfect and vibrant. Tfs and God Bless 🥰 💜

Hi Diana! This design can be split so that you can print it larger in parts - Dawn😊
I did purchase this product and have not used it yet. I think playing around with the temperature. Leave it on longer. It looks like too much sublimation ink was still on the sublimation paper. Thanks again for a great tutorial. Brenda

Hey Lesley! We are going to test a few different options to see what brings out the best end result. Do you have any tips for sublimating on cotton? Have you tried before?
Did you not put Butcher or parchment paper between the shirt layers???

Hi Lisa! You can! We haven't had issues with the ink going through to the other side of the shirt but it's definitely an extra step worth taking especially if you are making something to sell! - Dawn 🥰
Crystal why don’t you use the heat press behind you for these larger designs?
@DesignBundles

Hey Judy! We can certainly use the clam shell heat press in future videos, but much of our customer base shared they were Cricut users, so we tent to use those products. Do you have both? Which type of heat press do you prefer to use? 😊

Will it brighten the colors so they aren’t faded when using lower polyester counts?
@DesignBundles
Жыл бұрын
Hi April! If you are using a 100% polyester, the colors will be brighter, but also be mindful of the colors as well! They aren't going to appear brighter than they are in the design. 😊

Good tip! On the Amazon page, it advertises that it dries out very quickly and allows you to start sublimating in minutes. We'll have to try that the next time around!
Unless my eyes are deceiving me, it appears you have a larger heat press on your counter. May I ask why you used the Cricut instead? Chances are the larger heat press would apply the heat more evenly.

@@DesignBundles I see now, makes a lot of sense. I am new to this, so this is why I wanted to know. I was thinking that maybe using less heat would be better. Besides, that heat press you have in the back can be a bit heavy to lift. :)

Hey there! We aren't sure if it's the same as the one you are referencing, but you can find the one featured in the video here: amzn.to/3SEWjzm Did you try a similar spray? What did you think? We would love to hear your feedback!
I have used sublimation spray several times on cotton shirts. I have never had them come out looking sharp. I think 100% polyester is the best. Of course if you like the vintage look then this is the way to go.
@DesignBundles

Good point! I noticed it depends on how much you spray on and it can depend on the brand too :)
Looks like if you go a little longer with the press it would come out more color.
