I’m sorry but as a gsc player we do NOT need another charecter!!! Half of our codex is filled with characters, and we would really love something other than abberants for the role of tanky elite/troop units. I am really surprised GW insists on giving us yet more characters, we already have so many options in the character department.

yes omg last thing we need is another character. let’s start by making what we have useable (looking at you magus). a powerlifter type walker would be cool (soemthing terminator sized or a bit bigger that could be taken in 3s). maybe something like a huge abberant troll type thing or something that is closer to a tyranid monster

XD they will never ever ever release HH models into 40k. There are so many rumours and stuff about why they don't but I just think they despise admech. Most expensive range with so few models and bad codecis.

@@Raygun9000 guard has a large number of non charecter units so adding new characters isn’t a problem. Gsc has more charecters than anything else in the codex

I think most armies can do this. I know admech cannot, in points we top out at 1140. But the cost is $900. So depressing. 19 models.

Battle Automata? Gladmech!! Oh wait, just remade for HH? Sadmech....

It's going to be funny to me that 30k is getting what admech in 40k desperately has been asking for a LONG time.

My bet for the GSC character is that it's got a huge upturned collar, rising up almost beyond its head.

1) Expand brood brothers to allow for any battleline unit to be taken (while leaving the current rules for taking imperial guard tanks and the like). 2) This teased character will join a brood brothers unit and gives them bonuses. I mean, maybe his big brain is used to control his squad? 3) Make the Magus actually do something (give him a pychic gun or something at least) 4) Bring back neophyte shotguns 5) Give acolytes / metamorphs a combined gun statline (Small Arms: 3 shots torrent, pistol S3 AP0 D1) and drop them a point because currently the hand flamer is just way too good compared to autopistol. That solves some of the genestealer issues at least.

Hear me out: the GSC model is a named character, that can be used in Necromunda and 40k. In the Book of Ruin, there's a GSC Bounty Hunter experimenting on his companions, trying to improve them, mould them greater. Dude has a large staff, a snazzy coat, a large head and headress, and multiple arms. Its possible at least! Edit: I wasn't far off!

3:30 I'm pretty sure that's a big collar, like on the on the Magus, but bigger.

@@klassensj2 They are cool but I want hte promise of like 10 years ago to be made good on. They said these automata would be coming to 40k then and by god I hope they are bringing them in now. This is the perfect oppertunity to fill out the rest of the other side of Ad Mec, instead of just the skitari side. We could have an imperium faction that functions more like dark eldar.

hope they will do like they did in AoS with the Darkoath, new models and rules as a small addon and just put in the app if you have the codex, but when you get the big box you get a book with their rules. they could do it with the Admech adding the HH units and ofc also for other armies.

The mech could be a new ambot for Necromunda.

GW has made industrial suits in necromunda, why they dont give them to GSC is beyond me

The "mystery exo suit" looks VERY Adeptus Mechanicus to me. Possibly corrupted in some way by the look of that claw-thing, either by chaos or simply heretical tinkering, but it wouldn't be too far fetched for the regular ones to equip their machines in similar fashion for close combat.

Would be nice to be able to use the new plastic mechanicum models in my 40K army :(

The GSC model would be Awesome if it was the icon bearer for an entire unit of big brained Psyker types. Ranged answer to aberrant perhaps!

My personal guess is that the claw and foot belong to a model (or models) that will be exclusive to Vashtor's detachment. It would make sense, seeing as how he controls the soul forge and would theoretically keep the "good stuff" for himself

Usually they release model kits that are new with the codex to match them. I think it’s necromunda.

As a GSC player I already struggle to fit in all the characters I want to yet still reach 400+pts in em each list. If the new character is anything less than an auto-include then its being ignored. Even if it is, I wont be rushing to buy it since Ive got enough.

Admech bots better actually be able to do damage. Most of the army is stat checked by just Intercessors. GW acknowledged that Breachers are the only decent hitting unit, but that does nothing when oppent knows that they just need to kill them first then clean up.

Why does it feel like more and more I'm dealing with Elzar (Even more than before) when it comes to GW? "Have you tried the characters? They've got a real nice profit margin!" I'm gonna hope for my Genestealer kin this is a Thrope/Malaceptor flavoured psychic Elite/Heavy unit that can nuke things off the board at extreme range maybe? Dunno it cannot be like there are any roles to fill in the command structure ffs...

as a sister player i am hoping for an anti tank unit. with how toughness works now are only option is basically vahl giving rerolls to her melta squad or kill are own units to try get a bunch of miracle dice to try punch meltas through. thoooooooo it seems like we will probably just get a new angel model or squad.....

big head maybe necromunda

Im a GSC player straight huffing copium. They revealed the ensalver model not too long ago. Looking at that model and at this spoiler for a GSC character the shapes fit very well. I'm coping we'll get some type of enslaver leader leading a unit of ensalvers. Yes i understand they would have to retcon a lot, but ill die on this hill until the reveal.

Thanatar is awesome but I don't give a shit since I cannot use it in 40k.

Complaints about GSC getting another character were expected. But seems like people forget - it's not a matter of what army needs, it's about GW production cycle. GW usually releases big unit refreshes in waves for two/three editions then takes a break for a few editions, then cycle repeats. The only real exceptions are starter factions of each edition that get ever bigger release than average wave, like Marines, Tyranids, Necrons etc. Since GSC released as a brand new army in 7th and got more in 8th, it was obvious they won't get much in 9th and 10th. So a character model was expected, better have that compared to the past, when armies used to have not even a single model per edition guaranteed. Plus hey,we got new Brood Brothers through Kill Team, that's technically two releases...

Even when GW does something pleasing there are always people bringing up their other failings, shitting on GW became a profession. Especially when majority of those behavior and complaints disappear when you go do Warhammer things IRL or keep buying their products.

Gsc needs new models not characters. I'm thinking ambots because of the mining theme. It'll make sense lore wise and and another sorta center piece model. They can have a rule to set gsc back into deepstrike. This would add another level to the 4d chess that is gsc.

Fairly sure that 'enslaver' is too small to be an enslaver. But then again, these days lore means nothing to GW.

Okay GW has had an obsession with exosuits/Mech suits recently and they need to stop, one they look terrible, two there are eldar models still needing reskulpts. Also GSC don’t need anther character, if anything they are actually pretty good sitting right now, maybe focus on LoV?

Not a fan of these silhouette previews. I think it's weird and I don't understand why they're doing it. Show me the model or don't show me the model.
