Much appreciated review, especially the Grise. I've been wanting to try it out since I saw their version of Dior's.

youre editing style is so good!! its so refreshing to see a fragrance channel that actually puts in effort!! you deserve wayy more. Maison alhambra has a whole line of dior fragrances, i would like you to review them!! :)

Had to come on here and thank you for the recommendation of Grise, Maison Alhambra. OMG !!! The fragrance is exquisite! I absolutely love it. I got it last night and I can’t believe how good it is. I am grateful 🙏🏼! Another love in that haul is Vintage Radio by Lattafa…. Gorgeous. Don’t know how these ME companies do it😅!

You've got a fantastic channel Eli. Can't believe it took me so long to find it! Very impressed with your videography and I really appreciate your candor. Big fan of many from the Alhambra line myself, with my favs being Exclusif Tabac and The Artist No.1. But I did try some of their Dior Prive dupes and Purple Wood was probably the one I liked most. From the Killer Oud line, Jubilant is my jam. Not quite up to Amouage standards, but still a lovely addictive sweet drydown.

Just ordered Grise for $22. Hoping it's not too feminine for me 🤞 I figured all the earthy notes would balance out the rose and it seems like I'm right from your review. Nice video! You might've sold me on Killer Oud Revolution as well 😅

For real! My favorite one I’ve been sleeping on is Lattafa Shaheen Gold. It’s got a ton of Tonka, Patchouli, Fig, and Pineapple. It’s so unique and smells amazing in this heat!

Get your hands on Georgians , The Lion Heart by Flavia Perfumes ( branch of Sterling). Clone of Roaring Radcliffe by Penhaligons. Very nice

I’m waiting for an order. A fragrance from Pendora ( Paris Corner) …… can you guess the notes ?? Top: Leather, Bergamot, Amalfi Lemon, Holly and Rosemary Middle: Tea, Styrax and Lily-of-the-Valley Base: Tonka Bean, Incense, Benzoin, Almond and Amber Bottle totally different but that note breakdown is exactly the same as ……. Midnight in Paris 😂. That’s what it’s called just looks totally different.

@@commonscentsreviews Is Ombre Blue similar to Maison Alhambra Grise (clone of Gris Dior)? I bought Grise on your recommendation and love it. Wonder how close these two are, since both emphasize rose and patchouli. Would Ombre Blue be nedundant if I have Grise?

@@nrgfan they do both have those notes, but Grise is more of a fresh and watery rose. Ombré blue is way darker and has a more of a moody and masculine vibe especially from the leather and woods. Both are some of my favorite Maison Alhambra offerings and it’s totally not redundant to own both. Hope this helps!

Great job! Your review is making me want to buy Grise to add to my rose collection but, I already have Amouage Lyric Man and there are common notes between the two. Do you think Grise would be redundant or is there enough of a difference? Someone else mentioned Tabac and I recommend it as a buy! Smells even better layered with Bright Peach!!

Well, I’ve done it…bought Grise, all based on your review that was dead on!! Loving it.

I really love the myth. It's an amazing perfume and lasts long time. But it doesn't have any rose. Perhaps this is why you didn't like it so much. Hahaha. No rose here, but you can find some bergamot as you said....😅

Oh man, if they clone Gucci's Voice of the Snake I'll go nuts. So damn hard to find nowadays and an incredible designer oud. They even cloned the little silk bag Gucci does too! I need to try those Dior ones, I'm not very familiar with Dior's private line but keep hearing good things about it. Good stuff as always, Eli!

The Hunting Blend ( Fragrance World ) or you have The Serpent ( Maison Alhambra) … both Gucci , Voice of the Snake clones. I have the Alhambra version and it’s good. Maison Alhambra have 4 clones I think 🤔 of Gucci The Alchemists Garden fragrances 👍🏻

The Serpent at first smells like manure. Like fecal matter from a cow. But give it about 30 minutes and it smells pretty good. Im getting the Trail next.

The clones are winning they are going to make the originals step their game up.

Do u think Gris resembles any other rose based alhambra fragrances? like cassius for example, I own many clones and there are some that smell close to each and other. Do u think its not redundant? I’m really interested in it

Sorry for asking any sillage or projection from Grise? Some people on fragrantica said it's a skin scents almost.

Tabac is heavy smoky tabac. I was looking for tobacco Vanille type and it is way different.

Great video man, as always. Could I request you give maybe give a look to "Flavia" perfumes? They are a sister brand to afnan (I think) and they are one of the few clones I can get where I live, Im particularly interested on their Penhaligons clone collection and their l'immensite clone. Keep in mind Triple Traders is in the Chicago area.. so they have added costs like security and insurance and taxes that are one of the highest in the nation.

I think it's fairly unisex. The OG leans a little bit on a feminine side. Grise should work well on both men and women.

Why pay a lot of money when the middle eastern fragrances are so damn affordable? Times are hard and not everyone has 200!dollars for a fragrance

True And Sometimes clones surpass their original, i'd rather get 10 perfumes for 20 Bucks than 1 for 200. So i can cover each possible occasion

Appreciate it Josh! Ooh there are so many good ones. My favorite affordable ones for women are Maison Alhambra Infiniti Rose (similar to PDM Delina) and Ard Al Zaafran shams al emarat khususi (Very sweet and innocent), If you want to spend a little money around 200-300, Parfums de Marly Vayala and Delina are amazing. If you want to spend just over 100 and want an Italian niche house, go with Tiziana Terenzi Kirke. It’s amazing and one of the best performing for the price around 14+ hours. Hope this helps!
