@@rhythmfield I think it depends on the nature of the breaking. If it’s Jimmy Fallon’s case where he just laughs constantly the whole time, that’s just a poor job and not funny. But if it’s the people in this skit who barely break and are fighting so hard to stay calm and say their lines, I find that a lot funnier to watch.

“A French liquor of any kind” “we don’t have that”....”then you’re not ready for guest” 🤣 also I can’t with the pantyliner and pantyhose.

That's not what a "pantyliner" is, that's a crotch gusset. He'd be wearing a pantyliner if he was having a light period....

Poppy Seed after that line, she starts laughing because she genuinely meant it and wasn’t acting.
Vanessa Bayer breaking character is the best thing. she hardly breaks character.

Not KZread autoplay sending me to this video after I watched the parent-teacher sketch.I feel like the algorithm knows...
This is the most funniest sketch I have found in snl I was continuously laughing the whole way through
Leading up to this, Vanessa Bayer had stood steadfastly next to her coworkers for years while they (not her) not only broke but practically peed their pants trying to keep it together. Yet she was always rock solid. This one somehow made her lose it completely. In her time at SNL I think she had maybe smerked once or twice but nothing even close to this. She must have a weakness for one of the following items, or all of them overwhelmed her: - Fred going *way* into a great character concept - ‘O’ faces - A blind, shouty & very confused Jason Sudekis - Snobby unattractive women without manners - Foot guacamole

There are a few Regine sketches & Vanessa Bayer struggles to not break character in all of them lol. The sketches are virtually the same, except with different guys playing the boyfriend & Regine gets them every time
