No problem at all on climbs. Really good!

To bad we don't get this model of the Propel in the U.S. Giant only imports the disc version.

This is the 19/20 model year of the giant propel. Indeed, it is a shame no rim brake models are planned anymore. At this price point the bike is very light and aerodynamic. After extensive riding also no braking issues at all, feeling very confident.

Deniz Narli Giant still produces the rim brake model but not in North America. They even produce it with a 105 group set at a more “affordable” entry model. Stay safe .

2019/2020 model as rim brake? Thought 2021 disc only...at least in NA.

Yes this is the 2019/20 model with rim brakes. Giant propel advanced pro 1. I think this will be the last of it’s kind, rim brake bikes are a dying breed..

Yeah, the bike next to it does look very nice with all the colours. However that is an older model year with shimano 105, withotu aero cockpit etc..
