I actually have a gear ball I’ve had for over 2 years, and I know that it’s incredibly easy because I can solve it... but I can’t solve a normal Rubik’s cube

You forgot to add the $7 next to the Gear Cylinder in the description. 4:06 It can happen on a normal gear cube. It’s just that your Meffert’s one doesn’t have stickers on the regular edges (the ones around the center) and only has the gears stickered. I have a Meffert’s Gear Ball and it does that, plus you also have to spin the gear edges around.

i need to say that the qiyi gear cube would be a nightmare with tony fisher inspired stickers cause the flip edge alg is the parity alg.

Can anyone please answer me ? I got into cubing 4 months ago, i currently own 3x3, pyraminx and megaminx. I want to expand my collection, for that I want some bigger cube, 4x4 or 5x5. I want to know that which of the two is easy to solve(less complex). And also which are the budget speed cubes for both under 10$. Your advice will matter THANK YOU.

I think the 4x4 is a better start. I'm a beginner for 4x4 and 5x5, but I find 4x4 easier. I recommend the Meilong 4x4. The non-magnetic one is about $7 U.S. If you can, though, the magnetic version is my recommendation. It's about $11, if I'm not mistaken. It's smooth and satisfying to turn. If you ever want to start 5x5, the only good cube under $10 I know is the Yuxin Cloud, which is $9. Hope this helps!

I think you should get the yuxin little magic 9x9 I think it is a lot better and maybe if you want to you could magnetize it because the pieces are a lot bigger the the mf9 and it's the same price as the mf9

try the mefferts gear ball, it is surprisingly harder than the gear cube.

Edge flipping happens on the Meffert's Gear Ball

Point of clarification: QIYI just produced the puzzles. QIYI did not "modify" or "change" any of Meffert's original design (which was created by Oskar Van Deventer). These puzzles were designed by Raphael Puzzles (cube, sphere, barrel) and Timur Evbatyrov (the "pyraminx" - which is actually a Halpern-Meier tetrahedron). Credit where credit is due. :)

Sophia IsTheBest 2 look PLL or full PLL? I learned both from jperm and I recommend learning 2-look PLL first as it is much easier and consists of algorithms that are in full PLL

The RS3 2020 is only $9 and it's really good. The Qiyi MS is great as well, but the RS3 has a dual adjustment feature, which is nice.
