Even if its the greatest game mode in the world if card acquisition is so slow and impossible there won't be any new players coming and staying in the game. I pay for passess and play enough to give 2 keys a week to the spotlights and i have missed out on about 10-15 cards altogether and it already feels too much work and no payoff for having a way to getting those card backs

2 keys a week!? Why not 4 keys every other week, with a few bonus weeks? You won’t get every card, but you’ll get the best half (if you’re smart) and more.

Episode 5 of X-men 97 was an utter and complete masterpiece and I’m not ashamed. Rogues line at the end of that episode can summon tears if I think too long about it

Y'all need to see Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. If you liked The Truman Show, it is Jim Carey at his most dramatic. It's wonderful.

Mailbag: What improvements would you do to conquest? After I reach my goal in ladder I found myself playing more conquest but I don't really care if I win or loose. Reducing hp to 8 could help it, so a double snap and the game is done can make it more interesting

i liked the question about deck variety. i think its ok, but ill also say that im surprised that in most games, there are no cards being played i do not expect. i really enjoy deck building. my decks always contain something unexpected. deck building in snap is probably the easiest in all the card games i know. yet i see so many people who are like i dont have red guardian, i cant play this deck. no, thats not true. a creator shows a deck and people copy it 1:1 or they dismiss it. more so than other card games. be creative, snap really allows you to do so.

I think we should get another squirrel variant that resembles the one in the snap release trailer! The sailor moon SG is so cute.

It's not a great time to be a snap player ._. On a positive note though, the show "Banshee" on HBO Max is incredible! Has Anthony Starr the guy that plays Homelander in The Boys.

I would love to see a scarlett witch buff and a uatu buff. Maybe they could add a combined effect where if you have uatu you could see what location you will swap to before you play

For newer players they need to increase how often you get a new card in lower collection levels.

I love nocturne. My favorite this month. She actually helped me get infinite this month for the first time. Opponent played magneto pulled my nocturne she turned his winning location into rickety bridge. Destroyed that lane. Tied the other and won the third for my first infinite. Shes hurt me a couple of times, but i love her chaos.

I've never once played Conquest since it launched. I play daily to get my missions done. Then 4 to 5 hours on weekends to created new decks to test.

It really doesn't take much longer than ladder if you turn 1 snap. I just rush through it to get the Conquest rewards or play Proving Grounds when my attention is divided.

My analysis of snap cards, anything that scales or moves is usually going to be decent at worse. Some exceptions. Daken

The Truman Show is a fantastic movie! Another absolute classic with Jim Carrey is Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind! Don't skip on it! Also not a comedy.

Mail bag: I love the non Snap chatter as much as the Snap chatter. With that in mind, what were some of your most vivid formative gaming memories from childhood?

'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind' and 'I Love you Phillip Morris' are both incredible Jim Carrey movies, if you're looking for him in roles outside his usual slapstick 90s-comedy roles.

Yeah they really need this to be a big and popular announcement - while they have improved development and balance of the game and cards so much in the past year, the lack of improvement to everything else has been astounding. Conquest feels abandoned. The app seems to have been in slow decline with bugs taking months to fix if they are fixed at all. Almost nobody is excited by leagues even without pay to win boosts. If it isn't a new game mode it really needs to be like a version 2.0 of the app itself - snappier, cooler and less bug riddled, plus some kind of economy improvements.

Mailbag: Whos your favorite DC hero and what Snap card would you compare them to if they had their own card? Ex: Batman like Nico, with gadgets cycling.

Mailbag: After the recent series drop, I claimed & opened Collector Reserves until I had every series 3 card except Martyr. Should I hold off opening anymore until the next series drop to avoid having her in my collection (for as long as possible)?! I wish I could trade out or exchange unwanted cards towards other unowned cards, but I get that doesn't help monetization.

Actually way more excited to watch Alex’s side this week to see what cozy has to say about calling sassy a 5 star.

Nocturne is just a strong "all arounder" card.. Premium stats, Versatile because of her move abilitiy, plus Uility in rerolling unfavorable locations... Essentialy a better Night Crawler, and a better Scarlet Witch all in one slot. I think she should be 3/4 tbh...

x-men 97 is one of the best tv shows i have ever seen, no exaggeration, good to see its getting the love it deserves.

My favorite JC movie is The Number 23. It is literally so different from everything he ever has done. It’s such a stark contrast to his comedy. Truman Show is great! Check out #23

i would say if u liked truman show enough to watch some videos about small details the movie incorporates. One of my favorites is when trumans best friend takes stuff out of the vending machine while refilling it to make his task seem much longer than it is.

The discussion you two briefly had about it being tough to rate cards before release, being scared of whiffing and misleading people, is the exact same internal debate players who don't want to spend hundreds dollars a month on the game are having. Is this card worth it, do I want spend upwards of 4 keys and end up unable to get a better card later? A LOT of us "missed" on cannonball, but you're 100% right. At his release it wasn't a bad call to skip him. It is actually impossible to make the "right" call because you never know what the next OTA will hold

Snapchat question: there are plenty of time in your lives when u guys play against other creators what a bout a event or something where the the regular person like myself could play against our favorite creators such as the two of you, that would be awesome. Is there a way in the future you guys could organize something like that? I don't know. It may be two grand scheme, but a chance to play against the content creators would be freaking awesome

Question for the Snapchat: What y’all think about m’baku possibly being in an arishem deck, do y’all think he will be great in it or do you still think m’baku will always be bad?

I stopped playing this game for maybe 6 months and I came back and it was (and still is) difficult to stay competitive. I nearly gave up. It took me maybe three seasons to get back to infinite because I just couldn't compete with the cards (I know if I was better at the game I'd have been able to do it quicker obviously) Definitely like the idea of them doing a returning player promo/week style thing that helps them catch up a bit.

23:00 If they want players coming back and/or being excited again, they need to fix card acquisition. Even as someone who plays a lot of SNAP but isn't a streamer or a whale, it's damned near impossible to fill out decks. I buy every season pass, I can unlock 3/4 keys every week, and I'm missing a ton of meta important cards. And tokens come in SO SLOWLY that I basically have no hope of filling those gaps without just dropping hundreds. It doesn't even make sense monetarily. I USED to pay lots of money in the Shop, but I realized eventually that I was dropping more than $20 a week to not even get enough resources to unlock a single card. So now they make even less money off of me. It's just broken.

Nocturne is a banger. Nothing but W's.

Snap has been opening my regular caches so slowly it's been erroring and I have to go out of the track and back in. I've also seen huge lag moving between tabs on both phone and laptop. I would be completely fine with Snap taking a week off card releases to just optimize the game.

Mailbag ✉️ What do you and Cozy think 💭 of at the start of each new season everyone starts at “0”❓ That way we avoid all the “day one infinite decks” this too would put everyone at a level playing field IMO.
