Love the wearable looks you present. Some influencers do heavy bronzing and eye looks. They have a place but the soft finishes you do are for the everyday woman. ❤❤❤

Exactly. The more coverage you add, the more radiant it becomes and that would enhance texture. Nah from me.

When reviewing a foundation it's very helpful to try applying it with different tools. Like a beauty blender, your fingers, different brushes etc. Try it with different primers and without a primer at all. There are so many factors

Agree. This isn't the first time she's done this where she applies a foundation one way and then says she doesn't like it. When sometimes you have to try a different brush or a sponge or different primer.

I wonder if this is going to be a similar situation as the haus labs foundation where the undertones were a little confusing to navigate… though haus labs does have a great variety once you do find out which one is best for you. because for the makeup by mario, the 1C looked more neutral, the 2N looked very pink, and the digital swatch for 3W looked much less warm than the one for 4C… even though the model for 3W looked like she has very obvious warm undertones… I’m just going to have to see what the swatches look like in-store but I already feel like I’m not going to get my undertone without buying 2 bottles. I’m pale and VERY neutral. Makeup brands tend to all have different definitions of the word “neutral” which sucks sometimes so I guess I will just have to wait and see!

How does this wear with a beauty sponge?

From what I’ve seen in other videos this looks like the skin tint from L’Oréal ( the one with the messy dropper ). That one also has some kind of pearly shine! It’s a shame that the shades are a bit off. Thanks for the review and your finished look is beautiful! 💕

I got a sample from Sephora to test it and it initially applies well and seamlessly - it’s very beautiful finish (I have combination skin with pores and texture). HOWEVER after 8 hours the foundation disappears and I am super shiny all over my face. I also didn’t appreciate the glittery particles. I think that brands should stop adding these particles to foundations since we there are so many products that can add a glow to your skin in the RIGHT PLACES and not all over your whole face. Foundation is just that- foundation for your makeup. The long -term wear is not there for me with this product and I applied light layer.

Try Haus Labs. Very longwearing on combo skin

I traveled with my DIOR concealer this holiday season and, even tho you warned us about the packaging issue, I was still surprised that it got so messy and leaked like it did when I screwed the lid back on. The product is great for my skin and the brush applicator is nice, but WHY can’t DIOR fix that awful packaging?? I actually might make me keep looking for a better concealer, sadly.

And do them by price point say things 20 dollars and under 20 to 30 etc

I might hold off on getting this foundation due to the color match because I am an ivory cool and the 1C looks to light the 4C is not cool…the 2N to me looks gray on the Sephora website, so I really don’t know 🤷‍♀️

The 2n is not grey for one and the shades are flexible . This foundation isn’t for old skin though so you shouldn’t anyways

Have you tried Makeup Forever HD Skin foundation? It's my favorite, and I've tried A LOT!!! Makeup by Mario - not a fan. Also that new Lady Gaga foundation. Not a fan. Makes me look oily without powder, and with powder, cakey.

But are you excited? lol Thank you for mentioning that is has no scent. You are the first one I’ve seen to mention this and it’s so important.

Maybe it's like Mac and W is cool and C is warm.

I think what I read is they do that to counteract your skin. So if you're cool, you use a warm foundation to make your skin more even and neutral and vice versa. But not sure if that actually works or not. It is really confusing

It looks soooo patchy! I thought it was only me that noticed how it was just sitting on your cheek, I noticed it right away. Then you mentioned it as well, and it’s like I can notice all the parts you missed on your face, like on the left side close to your ear. But on your cheek. Seems like you had no product there, and that’s what I mean by it looks so patchy. Ahh I don’t think I would buy that foundation. No coverage as well

You e done other countries like China’s makeup however have you thought about doing makeup from Germany?

This doesn’t have a great shade range for lighter skin tones. The same thing we have been fighting for in most company’s to ave darker shades so this shouldn’t be lacking in the super light shades either. There’s just not enough.. and the undertones are not great imo

I’m 45 and feel like this foundation would be a nightmare on my skin😢

Is it just me who finds mbm super boring. I hated the skin enhancer bronzer sm I returned it day later

Not just you. I’ve never bought one product. Hate the packaging and don’t care about celebrity makeup artists. This may be the first thing I ever try of his.

Rare beauty is AWFUL if you have allergies. I've asked reps for them and sent emails, but they will not send the ingredients list or tell you if one or any of their products have a certain ingredient. It's as if they don't know what's in their own products. But that would be crazy, right?

All of the ingredients are listed on the rare beauty website. It's there. Not hidden like you're implying.

It's actually not. There's are difference sources for ingredients. So unless you ask, you won't know for rare beauty.
