New Fish and a New Tank - Mbuna or Tanganyikan Cichlids?

In this video we visit one of my local fish stores at Wilmslow Garden Center (The World of Water)
We bought a new fish (Tangerine Tiger Cichlid) and acclimated it to the tank.
I treated myself to a brand new aquarium, but what are we going to do with it. Breed Mbuna Cichlids or a Tanganyikan community tank?

mbuna all day , just colours and they have such different characters

Agreed! Makes for better viewing. I also like the fact that some of the females still have a lot of colour with Mbuna aswell!

I agree , plus they don’t grow to big aswell plus you can have more aswell
I recently brought 6 cichlids 2 days ago and they are not playing they are hiding and getting scared any solution and i give them oxygen flow only not bubble is it ok

This just could be a case of the fish settling into a new environment with other fish they don’t know, I dont think it would be a great cause for concern for the first couple of days. They may just be adjusting to a new environment.

@@TheFinalTankBoss and also why are my new African cichlids hiding while turning on light and and active when turning off light how can I make them active in light
