New findings have physicists questioning reality

Physicists at CERN are working to determine why the equal amounts of matter and antimatter in the universe haven't annihilated each other. CBS News science and futurist contributor and theoretical physicist Michio Kaku joins CBSN to discuss this discovery.

Jesus is the only name given for salvation. He is the way, the truth and the life. Jesus was crucified for the sins of the world and rose on the third day defeating the power of sin and death and if you repent of your ways and accept Him then He will grant you everlasting life and peace, joy, love that surpasses your understanding. whoever seeks finds and whoever asks will receive. if you’re not sure you can simply ask God to reveal Himself to you from a sincere and humble heart. we should only strive to please God and to do His perfect Will as He wants the best for all of us. Love you Jesus.

Lure sorry that's "Wrong," The truth is We have already been told why we are here, By simple hints, We can reproduce for a reason, and we have intelligence to communicate, But science is just to stupid and self absorbed to comprehend it, science is made ignorant by its on preconditions or theories, to read what's written all around them, science is to busy trying to figure it out, instead of shutting up and just listening, So The real QUESTION is , who are we actually reproducing for, And who are we being reproduced to communicate with, It can't just be with each other that's to easy, because our universal environment is to large and to complex, This existence or reality has laws that give gravitational attraction to everything in it, So everything is in a dance together whether it likes it or not, So who is all of this intricate gravitational language trying to tell us,

Brandon G sorry , your wrong, But I do understand the reasoning, So understand, before you were ever born, you could not form any idea by which to conceptualizing your idea, You did not exist, in your present form, any other thought is just speculation, So before your parents ever knew they would marry and have you, they could not do that either, These ideas do not just exist, simply because you believe they already exist or existed, if you could do that then you would be the greatest magician ever, Because in order to have an idea, there must first be reality in the form of something intelligent enough to understand the conception of any idea so simply we first need understanding, But "according to these physicist," Existence has not existed forever or should not exist at all, Therfore you CANNOT be ""absolutely sure"" everything you can or have conceptualized has always or does already exist, I'm Sorry to break that to you,,

The asymmetry of matter-antimatter hints to matter left behind from a universe that existed before our universe. Since our current trajectory is towards the expansion of the universe, there will be a time in the future where the universe will cool down or contract into a smaller size when negative entropy>positive entropy giving birth to yet another big bang. This also explains why the proton is about 1,836 times as heavy as the electron. Where's my Nobel Prize?

Jesus is the only name given for salvation. He is the way, the truth and the life. Jesus was crucified for the sins of the world and rose on the third day defeating the power of sin and death and if you repent of your ways and accept Him then He will grant you everlasting life and peace, joy, love that surpasses your understanding. whoever seeks finds and whoever asks will receive. if you’re not sure you can simply ask God to reveal Himself to you from a sincere and humble heart. we should only strive to please God and to do His perfect Will as He wants the best for all of us. Love you Jesus.

I think this comment makes sense except it doesn't. I like it but there's a problem. Their theory can't be true from the start, therefore, making it false after being true can't happen if it were never true. But they could just be wrong is more likely than there is something wrong with our universe right? Although contrary to or maybe absent of thought is that maybe there is something ''wrong'' with our universe. Not all human's were created equal, why would out universe also be ''perfect'' or other universes? And then people question creation all over again.

There was never "nothing". Energy can not be destroyed or created, as we learned in physics class. We are matter and energy ( body and spirit). The natural laws and principles of energy are that energy can only cycle, grow, expand, this means a growing changing universe that we are all apart of. Energy always was and is infinite. The natural flow of energy is itself " intelligence".

@Marijan Ćorluka depends on what you mean by " intelligence". According to the laws and principles of energy it flows forward from a lower potential to a higher potential meaning from out of simplicity grows complexity. "Intelligence" is more than just simply brain function. Example: from particles and dust of atomic structure to planets forming to adaptable life evolving from organisms on life sustainable planets, etc. Our intelligence evolved from out of the simple harmony and connection of the universe. That is "intelligence".
