I've had mine for a year and the build quality is superb. Also great to drive.
10/10 Fiat. PERFECT. WELL Done. Cannot wait to test drive. To me, it does look like the VERY BEST small EV out on the market. 10/10 Fiat.

Just bought a nice dark grey cabrio E version 42 KWH Icon oh man who needs petrol LOL Had 2 500 s before that a 1.2 Duallogic berlina in bianco gelato, a 500 twinair 5 sp turbo cult 80 raised to 105 HP cabrio also in bianco gelato. I have overproductin on my solar panels so I load at home, in my garage.... slowly better for the battery at almost zero cost. 5 eurocent per KWH.
I hope the La Prima my mom and I ordered is gonna arrive soon. Can't wait anymore 😩

Ricordo però che la fiat fu la prima casa automobilistica al mondo a vendere auto elettriche negli anni 90'. Inoltre era la leader per quanto riguardava le emissioni grazie alla sua ampia gamma di carburanti alternativi come GPL e metano. Purtroppo negli ultimi anni si è arretrata troppo, tenendo in produzione modelli ormai vecchi senza particolari restyling. Speriamo in una ricrescita

@@matteogarbero2609 questo mi fa incazzare, eravamo lungimiranti, avevamo voglia, proponevamo, ricercavamo e vendevamo in tutta Europa....abbiamo perso tutto, abbandonato. Questo mi dà fastidio, la mia era critica di delusione non per denigrare. Segmenti A e B erano solo italiani, adesso ci hanno sorpassato tutti. Ma ti pare possibile? Adesso comprano Skoda e VW pagandole il triplo.

@@Francesco-js8nk Ti do perfettamente ragione. Purtroppo le utilitarie di casa Fiat ora sentono troppo il peso degli anni. Sono convenienti da un punto di vista economico, in quanto a Torino le puoi trovare a 7900 € a km0, ma non sono più a livello concorrenziale con le auto straniere di pari segmento. Non sostituire la Punto con una sua erede è già stato un enorme errore, ma non si sente ancora parlare delle nuove panda o y. Il restyling che è stato fatto adesso alla panda è insignificante. Per carità gli hanno messo come optional lo schermo da 7", ma avrebbero potuto introdurre le luci a LED, come stanno facendo le altre case e qualche sistema di sicurezza in più che ora sono richiesti. Invece trovo più interessante il restyling della Tipo, che ora è più tecnologica ed ha più sistemi Adas, (ovviamente è una mia opinione personale)

@@matteogarbero2609 sono possessore di una panda 1.2 benzina del 2010...un mulo, non si ferma mai, ma sto guardando la nuova i10 come sostituta, perché? La nuova Punto, come dici tu, manca, perché? Le Punto anni '90 erano dei gioielli. Le Uno che avevano riempito l'Europa dove sono? La Y? Vergognoso proporre sul mercato un'auto così. La Lancia? Addandonata, dimenticata, che tristezza. Ai vertici Fiat sembra non ci sia interesse, abbiamo dovuto fonderci con PSA per avere nuove tecnologia e investimenti, per carità meglio sopravvivere. Non abbiamo più voglia. Perché al lingotto ci sono solo stranieri a visitarlo? Mio papà ha avuto un Tipo 1.8 gt....fantastica, con il cruscotto digitale che "ricorda" i moderni scruscotti delle Mercedes!

@@Francesco-js8nkSì, hai ragione, sembra proprio che non vogliano costruire più auto. C'è chi vocifera che ci saranno nuovi modelli Lancia, grazie all'accordo con PSA, ma chissà se sia vero o meno. A me sembra che tutto questo sia il seguito della politica suicida intrapresa da Marchionne negli ultimi anni. La Punto negli ultimi due anni di produzione è stata venduta in pochi esemplari, questo perché la Fiat ha tenuto per tanti anni un modello, riducendo addirittura le dotazioni di sicurezza che prima erano di serie. Il problema è che per moltissimi anni il segmento B è stato il più lucroso per Fiat ed ora la mancanza si fa sentire.

Compare to Tesla batteries the battery for Fiat 500 seems to be much more complex. Fiat could make a better job to simplify the battery so it could be easier to manufacture it.

I guess this is all car manufacturing at least in a very close future. I saw some humans... I wonder how many are employed in that factory and what professions? Also I wonder how flexible those robots are and if it's easier or more work to set them up when they switch to a new model? Never worked in manufacturing but curious. I watched this with a mixture of being impressed but also sadness for the jobs lost. But also if a manufacturer is too slow with this development they will probably have 0 employees in the future. It seems like the Italians are doing a great job and I hope to keep automotive industry in Europe. Maybe the Chinese will eventually bring Volvo-manufacturing to China? Sadly we couldn't keep the ownership in Sweden. On the other hand, with robots I guess they might be more likely to stay, as the cost of factory worker per hour will matter less?

This is going to happen to every manufacturing job every where in the world. Automation is the future. Where does it leave humans? Unknown but this is not the first technological revolution. It’s just the newest job displacement. Folks will need to learn new skills just like in the past.
