I love that: "It's not perfect. Somehow I'll live with it." Remember sir - people are not perfect. These things that pop up when you tried to make it perfect are just a natural consequence and a reminder. Strive for perfection, but give yourself a huge break. This project is definitely a huge achievement!

My new 5 month old black Lab loves watching you. He was born on a range in Kansas and spent his first few weeks listening to calves cry for their mommies. He gets all quite moving his head to one side and ears all alert. He also loves the theme music. He weens and cries when the video ends. So we watch it again,

First, I noticed the ghastly old hoodie was replaced with a new one-yeah! Second, the hay wagon is shaping up nicely. I am looking forward to seeing it at work in the winter pasture. I know firsthand the disappointment when the end result of “planning the work and working the plan” do not quite yield the expected results. Over time and use, your efforts will be your reward. Then you can give yourself a pat on the back 🎉

I am so glad you finally got some much needed rain. That should help your pastures quite a bit. Over here in BFE Montana (on the east side of the hill) we have been getting snow. Not a lot, 4 to 8 inches at a time and I know the farmers here are happy. ANOTHER great job with the feeder wagon. It's amazing what you can do with some scrap materials. I love how Cali is climbing around on the hay bales and annoying the chickens. Stay safe and keep up the good work.

I hate that high schools have stopped shop classes. Teens, primarily boys, need to know how to do things like weld but they are not taught anymore. I am very impressed with how you built this feed wagon. I worry about how you can get the bales in from the back all the way to the front. Maybe we'll see you load it once the floor, back, and latches are finished.

Feed area for cows looks very functional. Good you made it as wide as you did, much easier to put bales in and not have to worry about getting a tractor in & out.

It’s a lot less headache to cut the net wrap off when you first pick the bale up, when they’re laying horizontal. Then just use the forks to flip it into the feeder just like you do at the barn. Just food for thought.
