Like I have to submit a damn forum for a scholarship by the 15th and it won’t let my parents do the contribution ugh 😭

Had a similar problem where my parents where filling the contributors part and signed their part and as i was finishing the students section I submitted and it said that they were unwilling to provide information even though we completed it together and I sent them an invite indicating that they were willing to provide their info and I can't see my SAI now :(

Why did they make it online if they never even tested the website first? Now FAFSA is taking away my right to graduate high school (fafsa is a requirement in my area)

Look up the opt-out of fasfa form. I called my sons school district and was told it is in fact an option to opt out, but I have to request the fom from his school. Thing is I found this out from Google. The school did not give us this option. Get your diploma now and apply for fasfa when you need it.

I have the same issue, my son sent me the invitation to fill out my part as a parent and the form never shows up. I hope they solve this issue soon.

you have to create an account, once you login, the invitation will pop up in the activity area, it'll be in blue

My son completed on Jan20th & Invited us (my wife and I already have FAFSA ID's & accounts SSA matched), so please don't reply that's the problem) I recieved the link via email, just as in the video but nothing is in my activity page yet to accept the Invite, gonna give it a week. We are going through his end to make sure all info is correct just to be proactive. Good Luck everyone!

@@trulyrblessed If you are using a joint parental FAFSA filing and you file jointly on your taxes, it went to my wife. We went into my sons account removed her and entered my information in, invited me and recieved it properly. We enetered both initally but put her as the defualt for some reason. Now however FAFSA and the intial process system that began on Jan 31st has caused a major issue within FAFSA. They have delayed any "official" results of aid until March. They did however add 1.8 Million to the Aid pool because of the delay so there is a positive. Hope this helped.

This is the worst. I keep getting endless errors online when trying to fill out this form and now it is going to be too late. Just an awful job by US Department of Education.

My form won't even save or go through.

Yeah, my parents have no SSN, but I was able to make their account and send the invite. However when they accept the email invite and login to FSA, my invite is not there 💀 apparently, fafsa has not fixed this issue for students with parents who have no SSN

I try to create my mother an account but her last name is pass the 16 character limit. What do I do?

I have been having issues since January for my daughter.

I can complete the parent section but by son, the student, can't get into his section at all. Error messages.

@@natlopz I was told that the student invite the parent and enter information incorrectly. And assuming the account weren't created yet. it store that information in the system and requires exact information to make an actual account. But it is likely that the system itself is bugged because we swear the right information was entered.

Any other 23 year olds having an issue with signing the form when it loops back to the beginning of the form?

The student section has been completed and submitted however when i go to parent section it wont let me in. I click access existing form, click on the form, and then it just send me right back to the home page. Been like this for two weeks. Idk if this is the reason as to why its happening but my form in my activity is under a section called "drafts" rather then being in the "open" section. How do I solve this problem? Ive tried calling several times and they just say be patient but I have to have this in by the end of January to be eligible for the eof program at my school of choice.

I tried to send invitation to my spouse but i couldn’t send it.

crazy to think that walmart has a better website than FAFSA atp😂😂. I can't even get past the "invite parents to this form" I'd rather sit down with my parents and do the form together rather than this invite bullshit. This whole "easier" form is bullshit and tbh the fact that many of students having the same issue proves that the older form (although long) is easier than this "new and quicker" form🤦🏽🤦🏽🤦🏽 smfh this is so complicated for no reason.
