Haha well you knew I had to just do it!

I, for once, want the expansion being connected by a portal to older maps, being able to walk there as in HoT, instead of being detached like the other expansions. Like you said, being able to travel the whole world continuously is what gives the best exploration experience

I agree, I remember all the speculation around the portals when lws2 came out.

I think its funny they dropped living world story, i think that now would be the perfect time for 3 episodes, completely different plot lines just setting up future events then they could give out the episode when they release the related expansions. Im hyped for janthir, mainly because im left with too many questions around the mursaat, I cant see anet diving into that head on. I would love to be wrong though.

Honestly really hope it is the blood legion homelands we are headed to but i wouldnt mind isles of janthir or woodland cascade...somehwere in core tyria that isnt some wibbly wobbly dream/demon realm ( i loved soto but...)

Understandable! I also think that it would make for a nice balance by going from a high fantasy setting to something a little bit more grounded.

swear people over think things sometimes, if it is the pre-searing location and its now modern times/future aka us in the current timeline, stuff grows over time, specially 250+ years

I don't disagree. I overthink everything. I let my imagination run wild. But who knows, it's fun to speculate. This particular instance I think a lot of people just miss the feeling of pre searing ascalon and how beautiful and tranquil it was. So, having something that could potentially lead to this same feeling is perhaps a lot of hopium. Speculation and theorizing is fun to me and I think of it as constructive brainstorming that the company could even look at and maybe get inspired by (this is something I talk about very frequently in my videos and streams)

@@Aerali yeah I just mean we can both be right, it can be the pre-searing location but its not time travel bullshit, its the same place 250+ years later and passage of time has regrown it back to that tranquil vibe...this is how nature works in real life after a forest has a fire or disaster and then grows back

I don't know much about "Warlords of Draenor" but all I know is that it was one of the weaker expansions for WoW, so yes I agree that I don't want that either
