It’s cool that you haven’t stopped the budget carry videos. I can’t lie, it’s because of you I have the non-budget carry these days, but for people just getting into this crazy edc world, these videos are priceless.

Knucks are now legal to carry and use here in Texas and you can carry any type of knife and don't have to worry about being charged for it.

Edc weekly is my go to show for edc inspiration. Love this channel.

Love his stuff - only started watching about three weeks ago but it’s excellent stuff - not quite as big a fan of Swiss Army knives as he is (leatherman tools are just easier to access) but he is great to watch

I got some of those ChaoQ pens recently. Pretty good, cheap alternative to Parker Jotters, in my opinion.

Blade HQ has a s35vn and green micarta burnley tuna for $150 it’s been out for at least six months.

Can you, or anyone else reading this comment, talk about Honey Badger Arsenal's bolt action pens? I have been thinking about purchasing one of thier Bolt Action EDC V2 pens over a Refyne EP1 series pen because they're similarly priced, they're more customizable, and I think that they look nicer than the EP1 pens, but I'm not sure whether they are any good in terms of action, fit and finish, or general practical usage.

11:43 I've got a Tuna like the one in the photo. Great price, looks fantastic and has a great build quality. The design just isn't made for a fidgeter like me. Not the easiest to open and close. I'm happy to send it to you to check out if you want. I'm selling it, but seems like no one's hungry for tuna right now...

Hey man, JRW shop is pretty much sold out on all items, didn't see a typo tough clip there. The most I would drop money down on a blade choice is #Spyderco, like a Manix 2 Maxamet, around $210 USD. Anyway, always enjoy your videos, well thought out.

I saw a video you posted and for the life of me I can't find it again but what it the little "U" thing holding your keys together ?!?!?!??! I remember you said you used it just as a piece of something else I think but I have a couple different shackle styles and I'm just not a huge fan of them but the one on your keys looks very slim and comfortable and I have been searching for weeks for the clip I saw you saw what it was and just couldn't find it..

Thinking of getting Baton 3 with charging case. Can I get something better except for like titanium $450 beauties that are always sold out? Next up id like to educate myself about EDC pens. Hooking me up with some good source/recommendations is highly appreciated. Stuff that I can buy directly in EU is prefered due to taxes and additional import fees. The last is EDC lighter - is getting armored Zippo and swapping the insert for butane one the best option?

The really interested in the key shackle you have attached to your tough clip. I have the more common style shackle but I like that yours looks very light and flush. I tried your link but it took me to the general Amazon key shackle search page. Got any more info on those.

Well if you look for automatic watch with Sellita or ETA movement, sapphire glass and at least 10bar water resistance preferably screwdown crown you just say thanks god I found this nice piece under $1000. If you care just about function just updated G-Shock 5610U with 3495 module should get you covered under $200 or regular 5610 around $100 (I would pay more for longer lasting backlight and ability to change positions of day and month. I can limit myself with one and done with knives, flashlights, multitools and so on but I have to hold myself very hard not to buy watches as frequent as I am tempted to.

@@simptrix007 you can make that argument for anything in life. But I’m strictly speaking on the fact he was going on a budget EDC. There’s plenty of watches that are great budget options. Even beyond a g shock. Everyone wants a fancy diving watch and most probably haven’t dived a day in their life. I have a Rolex GMT master II and I have a timex Q reissue. Great example of a budget alternative. I personally just wouldn’t consider $500 budget for anything I carry on a regular day to day aside from my phone I suppose

@@glassjar7814 If you got the M79 then its like $300. Then I would still go rather for like Seiko 5. If it has to be quartz then any digital Casio. For me if watch has second hand it has to sweep. While almost nobody goes for diving the most of us like to take shower and go swimming with our watches on. I would guess diving bezel is most likely used during cooking these days.

@@simptrix007 you don’t need a dive watch to take a shower with it on. Most watches are waterproof enough. I don’t think you’re getting my point, $500 is not budget no matter how you look at it. There were submissions that were 1/4 of that price for their whole carry

Too much ad in one video

I disagree with paying secondary prices for GEC. I have over 2 dozen and use more than half of those. The blades loosen up with use. Theyte about the same as a case knife for a user. They're worth what GEC sales them for. No reviewers seem to use GEC knifes so the recommendations about them are far from accurate. If you can get them for retail. You cant but if you can go for it. Otherwise let the collectors have them.

CRKT and Gerber won't have higher end steels. CRKT is good designs with mediocre materials and execution.

Urban Survival Gear = pen I can’t afford. Posh survival < glamping.
