Once the car is built what do you do about a VIN#? Technically it is a kit car?

It seems to me that a lot of the cars y'all rebuild are just like this, from the ground up. All you have from the original car is the Vin plates and 12 inches of fan support or a section of the firewall with the Vin plate,then the rest is aftermarket repops?

If they would cut out all the dumb mark segments, and him trying to be the smartest person in the room at each segment, each current episode would be about 15mins long. Could you imagine how much better it would be, if the rest of that time would actually show cars being built..

I love the show I just can't take Mark. The only that can is Mark. He tries so hard to give viewers the impression he's intelligent with his 8th grade education.
