Today was almost certainly the last NFL game for a pair of the most outstanding players and respected leaders in Patriots' history. Devin McCourty and Matt Slater were among the best at their positions, contributing immensely to 3 Super Bowl titles in the second half of the dynasty. Equally important was their influential role as multi-year team captains. Hopefully someday both are inducted into the Hall of Fame.

You're a fool if you think those two kickoff returns were spontaneous. Some NE players just stopped and you can count as least three obvious holds by Buffalo. Plus the entire world has felt sorry for the Bills for a week and the ass kissing will continue.

Both Cincinnati and KC pose threats. The Bengals have been on a real tear, thier D really stepped up in recent games, especially the red zone. And with KC, Mahomes has the ability to win almost any game. Though they haven't been as dominant as their record. Both SF and Philadelphia would be legit teams to get past as well. Should be an exciting post season.

@@nickhill8612 Structure of playoffs. Only one team gets a bye (this year it's KC). All other division leaders host a playoff game. Buffalo thus hosts Miami. This is messed up though, because had Buffalo beaten Cincinnati in the game that was now a "no contest", they would have had the bye, because they beat KC earlier in the year.

As a Colts fan huge congrats to Nyheim Hines. I wish we could have utilized his talents better at the Colts but it's awesome seeing the success he's having with the Bills.

Congrats to Buffalo, you definitely deserve it. We had our time. This Pats fan will be rooting for you!

BUF finishes 13-3 on the season and are ready for a playoff run. They have some injuries especially on the defensive side, but this team I feel can overcome them. As a Pats fan I have no excuses for the game. Take away the god gifted kick returns and this game was still a contender for game of the year. Such an amazing game even though it resulted in a loss. Not to mention the sportsmanship shown at the end of the game.

The opening kick off happened and I was about to call it game but the Pats stayed in and gave a good effort very solid game. Hope #3 enjoyed

Good win Bills, GOOD WIN. This game was a real fun one and those 2 kickoff returns for TDs made me cry tears of joy. Hope the Bills can go ALL THE WAY

Still amazing to me how the Bills manage to win so much while missing many pieces at the same time.

@@internal2896 there’s only so many guys that can step up for huge key loses on the roster. I hope buffalo wins the Super Bowl but I’ll understand if they don’t. I’m surprised they are even 13-3 with all those huge holes in their roster. Losing Hamlin was another huge key piece to that defense. It would be a crazy Cinderella story if they can overcome all the injuries and bring home Lombardi this year

Nyheim Hines is Damar Hamlin’s 3rd Cousin…distantly related but still family members. How incredible is that. Took 2 kickoffs 100+ yards to the house including on the very first play. Life is amazing sometimes

This was hard game for Bills no matter how it look good in 4th qtr...two kick return TD's was pretty cool. And that made difference. Glad we won, but need to prepare well for playoff. This win was psychologically very important. But credit to opponent...definitely not an easy win. I think we felt a pressure little bit...glad it went well.

Nance was channeling his inner Romo in the 4th quarter. He was saying Diggs had not been involved in the second half, the very next play was a long touchdown pass to Diggs.

This is the best Allen looked throwing the deep ball in weeks, since the elbow started bothering him. Having basically 2 weeks to rest may have been just what the doctor ordered [although the circumstances of it are awful, of course].

At 11:03 Josh Allen's throw from his own 40 yard line to Diggs at the goal line.. 60 yards without his feet set... Absolutely a bomb on the money.. that's disgustingly sickening behavior. And the kickoff return TDs was absurdly perfect timing.. I know Damar was grinning like a possum watchin that ✊🏻

Patriots played a very good game today and showed that they aren't gonna be push overs next year. Congratulations to them. The Bills are going to the playoffs as the second seed for the second year in a row, and with renewed purpose and getting contributions from returning players like John Brown and Tre White (among others), we look about as good as we did at the start of the playoffs last year. To all NFL teams and their fans and folks around the nation who prayed and kept hope alive for #3, Damar Hamlin, We thank you from the bottom of our hearts and also feel renewed in our faith with all of us together.

This is easily the best shot the Bills have at making the Super Bowl, and if I'm being honest with you, I think they may actually do it.

Na their best shot at getting to the superbowl was having a healthy roster and having the 1 seed. And I’m a bills fan. I don’t see them going deep but I hope I’m wrong. They will be one or the other kind of playoff team. They will either blowout every team in the playoffs and win the suoerbowl or they will collapse in the wild card or divisional. This is why 1 seed was so important. We aren’t beating Miami bengals kc and then going to Arizona with another tough opponent with our d severally banged up

@@jonnysnipes3123 i get that but than every other team has that same journey to make, the bills run game has been top 3 since like week 13 and josh allen was making some crazy throws today, and if u go and look at like the cheifs or bengals, they aren’t as dominant as u think, cheifs almost lost the broncos and texans and bengals have a lot of tight games too, if a team can do it it’s the bills, they deserve it

Great win for a Bills team that had such a trying week. I wasn’t expecting an awesome performance but that went fairly well (especially for special teams).

This game was proof that Mac Jones can be a very good QB in the NFL. If he did this good with Matt Patricia as the play caller and no real number 1 receiver his ceiling is higher than many thought...
