New England Living TV: Fun is Important in Greenwich, CT
Helen was born on the East Coast, but raised in Los Angeles, California. She’s traveled all over the world and she’s lived in homes around the country. Five years ago, she came to Greenwich, Connecticut, with her husband to do a renovation on Sycamore Ledge.
Helen’s house is filled with the things she loves: a greenery for orchids, a craft space for needlepoint and even a room dedicated to cookbooks. The pieces in her house tell stories about her travels or her ancestors, and her furniture has been collected over three generations.
“There’s no way you can put this combination together without your life experience and your ancestors,” says New England Living TV host Parker. “That’s what is so special about it. It’s absolutely unique to you and your family and your experiences.”

I feel for the homeowner. My husband of 41 years also died very unexpectedly (six weeks ago). Her home is exquisite and her attitude is inspirational.

In the intro I can already tell I love her! I want to mimic so much of this just minus hunting anything. But I appreciate the taxidermy.

Beautiful home but I was surprised that the kitchen wasn't larger, considering that it's a 9,000 sq. ft. home. Helen is a lovely lady and has impeccable taste.

Thank you for watching. The designer was Rachel Reider. I believe that the homeowners sold the home and it is now a private home and not an inn.
MY husband this, MY husband that, MY inlaws, MY, MY, MY! I HAVE, WE HAVE, I HAVE. She wants for nothing. 😒😒 She lives alone in that mega house.

What is your point? It is apparent that she has lived a very full life that has included both wealth and family. No one lives forever, and even the wealthy will experience loss at the death of a loved one. Is it your recommendation that because she no longer has family that she leave the home that she is familiar with and apparently still gets joy from just because she is now alone and the house is “mega?” Again, what point are you trying to make?
