Here is the text from the document I was showing in the video so you can have a checklist to follow to get your new email sender requirements set up based on the new rules from Gmail and Yahoo!
Step-By-Step! Here's How To Comply With Gmail & Yahoo’s New Email Rules For 2024:
Step 1: Verify your YourName @ YourDomain.com email address!
Step 2: Add your DKIM records to your domain's DNS zone via a Cname record
Step 3: Add your DMARC records to your domain's DNS zone via a TXT record
Step 4: Add your SPF records to your domain's DNS zone via a TXT record
Step 5: Get your domain name set up at postmasters.google.com and keep your spam rate below .3%!!!
By taking these 5 steps, your email marketing should not be affected by these changes and you should continue to hit the primary inbox with all of your marketing emails.
If you skip these processes, you risk having your emails go straight to spam, lowering your open rates and your click-through rates... Which would result in less revenue for your online business.

thx man! Got a few things set up just last week on my end... used a couple tools you mentioned and now it seems I've gotta do one more thing to stay squeaky clean in the eyes of the email gods lol. Hi Miles. I don’t do internet marketing in bulk, at all really, and yet Google has tagged me to do authentication. Do I need AWeber to set up authentication.

Dunno. Depends on your strategy and approach. If you're sending the same email (or template) to multiple people without an email marketing system that's spam in Googles eyes.
Do you think we're going to see less junk emails coming to our inboxes? I haven't noticed any difference yet.

I'm pretty confident that for the most part email and email marketing is dead. Too many people are doing it which leads to most people not reading their emails or just getting deleted. I was excited building an email list, sent out an offer and not one person was interested 🤣- of course there are a lot of variables, but overall I think the average person is over marketed to. It's a bit like being a job applicant in 2024 thinking employers will contact you for an interview if you apply.

Awful take - your experience is not everyone’s. If someone likes your content, they’ll tune in. It’s like Netflix - you watch your favourite shows and don’t bother with the ones that you’re lukewarm about. And like you say there are so many variables to it. Have you nurtured your audience properly? How did you get them onto your list? Does your offer align with your audience? Is your content solving their problems? All these and more are important questions to ask (if you want to know more hit me up)

@@MilesB the good news is almost everyone is doing the same thing... not many people are doing truly unique things to stand out. You really almost need to use PT Barnum tactics
